Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
I forgot to change the level of the solo challenge chart. It should be 16 when measured by NPS. When it's accepted, just modify the level of the file.

Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
Oh hey, a new pack. I've got some old files I can submit for this, and perhaps I'll make a new one or two as well. However, since a virus wrecked my old computer with everything on it, I would really appreciate if anybody could send me those files.
One of those charts has four difficulty settings - perfect for what the judges of this pack is looking for. ADDENDUM: Hit me up on AIM if you have the files in question - I'm on most of the time so I'll likely respond then, and if not then when I get back.

Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
Same here. <3 I look forward to stepping some new files - I'm hoping to step a Dream Theater song for this pack. It's gonna be great to get back to stepping after not having done so in quite some time.

Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
The Big Crunch (Kommisar)
Really sick file. Rolls added a nice touch. Easier chart plz Pending Mind Mapping (Kors K Mix) (wc) Medium Yes Hard A lot more hand usages would've been excellent climactic additions but this was totally your call. I felt that it'd've left a much stronger impression if it was much more heavily layered. Very good file nonetheless. Yes The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Medley (wc) Epic marathon. Yes Moves Like Jagger (Sargon) THIS SONG. I love that you stopped stepping the moment Christina starts singing, rofl. Easy Yes Medium Yes Hard Very nice layering variation, especially since this song gets repetitive. Transitions are a little iffy at times but overall it made this much more enjoyable to play. Yes Meltdown 2 (Oubliette) Easy Yes Medium Yes Hard Short, very well layered, and enjoyable. I liked your pattern usage in this. Yes Cypher Gate Re-Design Mix (melon) Medium HUGE difficulty gap between this and the Hard chart, that's my only concern here. I'd suggest bumping this down to Easy and layering more on top of this to make the Medium difficulty for a better gap. Alternatively, copying the hard chart and removing about half of the jump/hand placements. Yes Hard - M42+ (Beat 164) is the toughest part to hit in the entire file due to all the minijacks and freezes mixed in. I guess given your layering choice though, you can't really avoid this unless you either underlayer or remove the freezes and shift patterns around to make it easier. Your call though. Well layered and decent for scoring. Personally, would've liked to see this chart much more thoroughly layered with jumps and hands (kinda emulating the Solid State Squad feel). Yes Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (Profraine) Easy Yes Medium Yes Hard Personally, I saw a lot of opportunity to play around with freeze usages but that's just me. Layering's good and structured well, though file's a little bit on the repetitive side. Yes Raindrops and Puddles (plopadop) Sup KS bro. Medium Yes Hard Wasn't expecting those 48th rolls at all, haha. Definitely made it more interesting to play. Kawaii ass file, etc. Yes 12 files in queue.

Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
Well, seeing as how Mind Mapping (kors k mix) was stepped and accepted, you can have my gfx for it.

Is it ok to submit copyrighted files?
If not, might chip in. Otherwise I dunno.
