Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
My formula for completion per genre is picking up duplicates, for example -
=countif(Jtehanonymous!$F$1:$F, "Dance")&"/"&Countif('Chart Difficulties'!D: D, "Dance")
Should I change each of our sheets to only have 1 line per card, or is there a way I can adjust this formula to combine "Countunique" with "Countif"? Maybe some version of sumproduct formulas?
Edit:// I had to make the space in the D: D otherwise FFR forums make it a face

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
Almost done with the massive updates to the spreadsheet!
I'll have to fix the overall card count formula too, that changed when I made one line for each card on the user pages. I'll also need to add a conditional formatting to notify myself when adding duplicate cards.
Fun fun!Comment

OWA
You also receive:
Up Arrow x1
Down Arrow x1
Also a new item has been added - a Pack Upgrade. When this is used it can upgrade a T1 pack to a T2 pack, or a T2 pack to a T3 pack.
Current List of New Items:
Card Fragments (Working on something for this)
Arrows (Collect 1 of each arrow to receive a T3 Pack, arrows may be bought, traded, or sold from other players)
Pack Upgrades (explained above)
Challenges may have opportunities to earn these extras from here on out

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
I don't think player cards can really be handled in a systematic way without more automation, and there's not really a reason to have them other than novelty, so waiting on adding non-song cards is probably a good idea.Other than updating card rarity - I had a couple other thoughts.
1) Non-Song Cards - One of the ideas I've been considering is adding cards for things other than songs, like players. Of course the issue here would be: which players and what rarity? I could use official tournament placers, or the leaderboard potentially to make a pool of cards. A Downside to the leaderboard - players ranks change. The card rarities would only reflect what a players ranking was at a given time.
I've been thinking about non-song cards for awhile since the reboot, but I haven't really come up with any system I think would be really good yet. There could be different packs for these things potentially.
2) Genre completion %'s - If I can get the genres onto the spreadsheet, I can show what percentage of each genre has been completed for each player. Then maybe someone can come up with a profile signature or something that shows your collection in terms of percentages on each genre. (X out of Y cards in Z Genre, %). This may also promote trading if people wanted to complete a Genre at a time and give a new way to play. There's not much reason to trade currently unless you have duplicates.
3) Perhaps I can change the pages on the spreadsheet for our most prolific card collectors to even show the cards they don't have as well as a completion percentage. This would make it easier to know what to trade for. For people with few cards, this would be too cluttered, though.
Just a few thoughts - I would like to promote trading between players and there's not much incentive to do so right now.
As for the second two points, I'm considering making a web app, originally for my own personal tracking, but certainly could be expanded for general use. Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
So I've done the math on Standard vs Quality Packs and .....
If your goal is to pull a T12 card -
Quality Pack is the winner!
Typically, the unaltered odds of pulling a T12 card is .02%
Quality Pack Odds over 3 Cards - .15% (7.5x Standard Drop Rate)
Standard Plus Odds over 4 Cards - .12% (6x Standard Drop Rate)
The standard plus pack does net you a greater card count though.
I'm not quite sure how to do the math on the gamble packs - I do know you'd have to start with knowing how many Even vs Odd difficulty charts are in tier.Comment
