Anyways, if it's ok with everyone, I was going to take the place of Mourningfall because of an injury. I wouldn't be eligable for prizes of course, and I'm at the bottom of D5.

Across Rooftops isn't a very hard song for D5.5 as far as nonmash FC goes should have used at least an 83 or 84.

I've tried FC'ing that ever since it came up in the rivalry over a month ago and couldn't manage it until now... and surprise, it was always the long chain of jumps at the end.

But as to using an 81 instead of 83/84, maybe because it's only Round 3 and TSR doesn't quite want to overwhelm us yet?

Across rooftops came across easier than I thought it would. Probably should have went with a burstier 81, or 82 but it's too late now. I personally have lots of trouble with it, but I'm bottom/borderline D5 and still can't PA 70+ for anything.

Across Rooftops isn't hard at all to get a decent score on, but it is tough for people lower than D6 (D6 should be able to get an SDG no problem on AR). The only tough part in the song is the ending if you can jumpglut and BS it. AR imho is the first real stamina draining song you come across in D5 (if you play in a tournament and happen to find it in the later rounds or just by general play in the D5 skill range).

EDIT: I read how you (TSR) are taking Mourningfall's place but if needed I can resume my place from the beginning; I'm able to play reliably now.

That's ok with me, I'd only do so as a last resort.
