Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Euphoria [Antinomie] v2: 5.375 - I guess this is not a bad start to getting a v2 for Euphoria [Antinomie].
Power, Wisdom, Courage: 5.0 - iirc, the previous version of this file averaged 6.125 I think. Really quite disappointed that after making all those changes that the judges (from the previous batch) suggested, that the file got worse ratings, and I guess I'll have to get DDReam now cause I could've sworn the sync was better on this version (but I guess not) . Touhou Judgement in the Sixtieth Year - Fate of Sixty Years: 6.375 - This one is getting real close, but I don't think it'll quite make it. Looks like 0 for 3 for the 3rd straight batch , are my stepping skills really that bad?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
clockwork gearman recieved a 27 average score, 1 higher than pollyanna. (with even a 5.5 from kommi in there, if there was judge bias accounted for) and it's not there

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Normalized ratings change how much a judge's ratings are worth.
In the easy songs batch, a 6 from MarioNintendo was only worth around 5.4 points. That happened to Ascending Hands, so even though one of the ratings it got was a 9, that 6 really hurt. The 9 was only worth around 8 points. Edit: Now that you bring that up... I remember that the batch system used to drop the lowest score (and I think the highest one too). So if a file got 3/6/7/8, only the 6 and 7 would count. That doesn't happen anymore

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
whoa 4 points, MN 2 gud
Also nice to see S.E.B in B.E.D there And yeah the normalized score system can lead to strange stuff -in the easy batch, Atop The World and Crucial both got the same total (/30) but after normalization only World made it in while Crucial missed by like 0.01 lmao. The theory makes sense though. Is there a list of "free resub" songs?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Batch system dropped the lowest rating if there were 6 full judges per group, iirc.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I'm really iffy on the idea of Steel Monster going into the game as-is. I feel a lot of the judging points made against it were very valid. However, even though the 24th streams are actually 32nds, the point of them being downgraded was to avoid there being three spots of just ridiculous difficulty spikes. Especially if we're dealing with the first one having accents on the 16ths. It just feels wrong to me. I'll take another look at it and try to fix up some of the more unforgiving patterns as well, so yeah, expect fixes.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
@Reshiram: I ran into the same issue when making my chart for Steel Monster on TurdStyle. I initially drafted the first run as 32nds, but the ramp up in pitch was so noticeable and deserved an accent of its own. 48ths were unreasonably fast to have a normal stream, and 64ths were just stupid (the actual synth is 1/64th separated for the second run, iirc). I ended up doing the first stream as 24ths and the second as 32nds, with the first run's base being a trill (with jumps layered in for kicks) and the second run as an Eclipse-esque stream that is pretty automatic in terms of patterning.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Actually I took a look at it recently and figured out a way to alleviate a lot of the problems. Although I really dislike the idea of it being 32nds, still... I see what you mean @Halogen... I think it'll work the way I've fixed it. I think I've managed to keep it closer to the actual rhythms without completely spiking the difficulty to shit levels. (ala Eclipse)
