Man, where are all these songs coming from?

@Stargroup: ohhh, I definitely took into account everything the testers said bout my Game Boy Fiend and it's pretty damn cool now.

@Tass: Lemme know when you allow noteskin tricked stepfiles so I can submit my Barbed Wire again and again and again

Just a question, but can we step Boss On Parade (DJ Sharpnel Remix) since it was on their Otaku Overclocs album, even though it says that the artist is DJ Technorch?

Raine... i'd lean towards no.

rshadow... no more jingle bells. you had 1 shot at them, and i've made it clear i really didn't want any at all... we've got multiple songs to release for christmas that are christmas themed. we're all set. sorry. not to mention... that "Resubmit" you sent... had no file attached.

cristo... mid January. i leave for the east coast in about 8 hours and won't be back until Jan 7th. So I'll start testing the 7th or 8th. Figure the 10th?

Ohhhhh... I see that they're in the next batch from JX's post. This might be a bit of a wait. =/ Oh, well... at least there's plenty of time to make improvements!

Oh, by the way, I'm holding you to what you said, Tass. ;D

THE QUEUE
Disconnected Hardkore - dore

Disconnected Hardkore [dore] [++] (11) - nice 3-framer avoidance/BPM change for FMO, overall 4-framer inducing patterns are kinda ugly though
Thanks for the ++ You're kinda limited on 245bpm 16th patterns lol

I can't wait to play this on FFR, it'll be one of the most fun FMOs IMO.

Quote:
Pimp Slap - dore - what jx said

Pimp Slap [dore] [+] (11) - 48 rolls are a bit off
I had to water down 64ths to avoid jacks, so I sacrificed a little rhythmic accuracy for playability. Thanks for accepting it anyway.

Quote:
Hardkore Atomic [dore] [+] (10) - overdoubled at parts tho
Are you referring to the 24th note tap-tap-jump.... tap-tap-jump spots? Or do you think the entire song has too many jumps and that taking away a few would raise the overall effectiveness of the file?

Quote:
The Great Giana Sisters {dore and eastsideman09} [+?] - 18ths are off(too fast) at m100-, weird rhythms in m116-117?
Maybe they're not exactly 18ths, they might be some weird 192nd rhythm that'll be godawful to do in notepad but I'll give it a look. I think I know the rhythm.

So what exactly is the rule with Classical Music? If we make the MIDI ourselves, we have permission to step it, if the song was written before 1923?

entire song, but it wasn't enough for the reason for rejection.

101 kittens (flipsta_lombax) [>] - not bad, but queue'd one is better
I really can't wait to see and play stargroup's 101 kittens. But all in all, this has been my 3rd attempt. -.-

Quote:
PAL,36 (flipsta_lombax & trumaestro) [?] - gap early, off at parts (beginning voice, m21-22, guitar parts, etc). overall not bad concept though.
Fair enough. I have to consult with my collab buddy about this for a re-submission.

IMO the 101 kitten file looked slightly warped since it had my style and stargroup's style both in the same file. However, I trust stargroup in knowing what's best.

I didn't make that one, we have permission for the beethoven from the guy at classical archive. I'm currently making a midi for my own purposes, and it would be a good song to get in-game.

Oh my, sounds dangerously horrific. =)

And I really hope my Traveller file gets far. Not very optimistic but I am sure it is awesome enough. =)
