Re: Coronavirus
At the rate it's going and based on how loose some people are with it, I feel like everyone will either catch it or be exposed before Biden is inaugurated.

Re: Coronavirus
Not surprisingly, the statistics have gone up. The season of colds has begun, which creates an additional burden on both doctors and people themselves. Everyone is already morally exhausted, many are really afraid of the risk of infection. To live in constant fear - this greatly depresses the body's defenses. And against this background, a part of the population, who wanted to spit on restrictions, expose their health and the health of those around them to danger.

Re: Coronavirus
Been thinking about getting tested lately. I've had this cough for a bit now, but it's the type of cough I usually get around this time anyways.
Not super worried of my work-place getting infected though. We have such low numbers coming in our library with a process that's a little bit too much to go through initially that I ain't afraid of coming to work in fear of covid. Also not terribly worried of spreading either if I or my coworkers contract it. We clean pretty vigorously before and after our shifts. To all those testing positive now though, I wish you well.

Re: Coronavirus
So guys it seems the vaccination is starting really soon and hopefully this means we can go back to a relatively normal life except for the impending economy crash and fucked metal health after one year of detachment from social contact! Hows's the situation where you live?

Re: Coronavirus
We recently hit a new record for highest number of new cases in a day where I live. It feels like a nightmare that won't end. With that said, I recently quit my customer service job in exchange for one in a warehouse. Less contact with the general public makes me feel safer.

Re: Coronavirus
My mum's ward has an outbreak She's off for the week because her ward has no more patients, they had to discharge them all. And she's not allowed to go to a different ward for obvious reasons. Her test was negative thankfully, she had to get two tests in like three days because she had symptoms last week then over the weekend the outbreak happened

Also in a situation of national interest why would you still need to pay? Wouldn't that be a reasonable exception to the system?

Can probably guarantee if something like that isn't adjusted to be free for all Americans, then you guys can probably expect your borders to not open anytime soon within the next 1-3 years. Last edited by gold stinger; 12-15-2020 at 12:36 PM.. |

Re: Coronavirus
Hey I can still dream of something reasonable happening even against all odds!! Like the poorest citizens are also those more at risk of getting it and more likely to keep spreading it, for many different reasons. If the access is paywalled (even though the cost is not exorbitant) the vaccination campaing will be much less effective and there could be severe consequences in the long run, among which like other suggested USA being blacklisted as a travel destination. Why do they keep shooting themselves in the foot?
