the wording may have been a tad harsh, but the message was actually quite positive. you're totally allowed to remember past times fondly. however, don't think there's no more fun to be had. stick around and help liven this site up!

I miss a couple things such as, forum tokens (the ones you actually have to search for, there should be a spon con based around them (code probably has to be rewritten for them, though) and release some as SOTW just like skll tokens are sometimes). Just like Puzzler94, I also miss the simfile database, but the reason that left (from my knowledge) is because of legal issues around it.

Also, I agree with Choofers. Don't spend as much time reminiscing about the old days and appreciate what new features and songs this site has got to offer now.

As far as I am aware, we need to fix up a few things before we can revive the regular tokens that aren't 'achievement' based. I could be wrong, but for example, the support tokens that have been converted to regular tokens are all done manually these days...

Stay positive, have fun, and get hyped. We have a lot in store for the future and another official tournament right around the corner~

Also, the tokens were born out of a NotPron craze (as well as a bunch of subsequent clones of varying quality). Fun idea at the time, but unless you were around 5 years ago when they came out, you are NOT going to get some of those hints. The official hint for one token actually has to do with an event that took place in May 2007.

While I know the idea of phasing them out or rewriting the unlocks is at the very least an unpleasant thought, it's one worth considering. Maybe I'm just bitter because I ended up relying on a site that used a crawl bot to find the links and put them all in one place because I just COULD NOT get the riddles, but still.
