Re: The story from Tass
I like the ffr forum because it lets us discuss pretty much anything, and that's why i hope if ffr does go down someone will keep, or make another ffr forum.

Re: The story from Tass
I just went back to rithum for the first time since it went public. That place is so dead. It's been like a year and the same threads are there in every category.

Re: The story from Tass
I remember how active Rithum was and how many FFR members went over there for a short while before it died down. There are a few of us still over there. After the Rithum video chat was taken down in favor of a regular chat, things really started to die down.
edit: Good times in the Rithum Vidchat. rwn has a ss where three users in the vidchat (including me) did RI-TH-UM where one would have RI- and so on... Last edited by DotKritic; 11-13-2009 at 01:19 PM.. |

Re: The story from Tass
I personally think it's about time. This site has been doomed and there's no need to keep it around when it's ultimately not going to be anything. Cut your losses and move on.

Re: The story from Tass
Not going to be anything? This site probably makes a pretty penny in JUST ad revenue alone. So it will never not be anything, unless it gets shut down in the future. :S
As long as it turns a profit there is no point in selling it or shutting it down. For tass to not be payed fully is wrong, but things happen. |

Re: The story from Tass
I still support this site 100% and I will until it is shut down, which I don't believe it will. I believe this site can come back. I look at it as the economy right now. The economy is screwed right now but it wont stay like that forever.

I disagree too. This site has a lot of good times to some users, and some history to them. I'm sure most long time users of this site don't want to see it gone just like that.

Wow, Dorby. You're like the most butthurt person I've seen around. How is the website offending you by existing? It's serving a purpose. People still congregate around here to post and swap stories.
Quit being a dick.

I forgot that having an opinion means that you have to lack tact.
Here's my opinion: You're an assclown.

Re: The story from Tass
Well I'm glad we're finally not in the dark on this anymore. But it's still really sad to see this site slowly die. This was my first forum and the forum I most actively participate in. If this site does shut down for good I'm gonna have no place to go.
The day where I click on my FFR shortcut and the site doesn't load up will be a very sad day for me.

Re: The story from Tass
You are showing great immaturity in your posts, all I did was state my opinion on the matter, no need for your raged comments. You are just going to derail the thread even further.

Re: The story from Tass
Thanks for telling me that I'm showing great immaturity. It takes a wonderful amount of wisdom to come into a thread where people are expressing hope for the future of the website and go, "It's futureless, shut it down."
My God, I wish I could be just like you.
