Err ... you don't know me very well Rebirth, but I remember what you said about the TGWP series ... about your girlfriend? Is she the same one? Well, don't answer that last question, because that's probably too personal, but if you quit making simfiles for FFR, it'll make a great deal of people sad, but we'll understand (for the most part; at least, the ones who actually have an ounce of maturity), and we'll wish you happiness with your girlfriend. =)

If it's epic like TGWP was/is, I'll love your memory forever. =)

few others that are REALLY REALLY close to being in the queue, but either Shash or I had small details we'd like to see fixed on them... but, actually, most of the files in this queue sucked.

there is a direct correlation between who submits files and how good they are. when there are a large number from jimerax, rebirth, hi19, silver brian, kit, and the like... there are a large number of queue & minor tweaking files. when there are only a few from that group, and a large number from everyone else... there are a large number of rejected and needs major work files with not that many queue files.

my suggestion... ask for help from those who have proven themselves to be quality filemakers. if they say your file sucks, you're saving Shash and my time by not sending it to us until you get it fixed up. it'll also help you to be a better filemaker overall, cause you'll get more detailed assistance and help from those people than you will from Shash or I.

I was just born able to make amazing files.

If your file is not excepted, then you probably have a crap file. What you shouldn't do is whine; what you should do is redo it, then resubmit (and repeat, if necessary).

The thing is, this site has seen enough complaining recently (and a lot of it was about the most retarded things), and I just saw your post as another example and my temper flared a bit.

I apologize for that, and I was definitely expecting to be flamed for that (which I didn't care at the moment considering my temper). You didn't, and I definitely commend you for that.

Well, newbies should concentrate on ONE simfile, not go after making as many as they can hoping one gets in. Take things slow, and you may end up moving along faster (simfile-making skill-wise) than you'd think.
