And everything stops here -- dead serious; I'm not in the mood for you guys to cause drama right at the end of the tournament.

Honestly don't know why anyone would hate on Robotomy.
File is fun as fuck, not that hard for a slower player like me to combo but clearly ridiculously hard to score well on. That's perfect for a combo-scoring game like FFR, the way hard files should be in this game. Definitely gonna finish fixing it up and see if it can get in game, if not as a tiebreaker then just normally through the batch... I'd love to see it get in.

@hi19: The track itself is very experimental. If some people can't handle the song choice that we have now such as grind2 or RATO, I can't really imagine Robotomy shining in the song choice department. Especially since Robotomy is noisier/more abstract (for a lack of a better word) and much longer than the two previously mentioned.
Some of us here (GammaBlaster is an obvious example) do enjoy Robotomy, but the amount of people who don't enjoy it far outweigh the amount of people who do enjoy the track. I mean, I do enjoy flashcore every once in a while but I don't think it'd be something that you would show to your classmates or something lmao. |

I'm pretty sure Wall Noise artists themselves don't consider their works music under the strictest definition of music, considering the genre itself implies it is organized noise and not music.
That doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by some people for what it is. Defining a collection of sounds as "music" or "not music" has absolutely zero to do with whether it can be appreciated or not. ESPECIALLY for a game like FFR. p.s. Robotomy is more musical than many files already in FFR. Rave 7, grind 2, RATO, the rest of Dev/null, Kkrusty, the breakcore-y-er Vsnares stuff, etc. Also since when were judges allowed to deduct points or reject just because they don't like the song? I thought you were supposed to pass the file if that was the case... I'm trying to figure out what the big deal about this file is beyond just automatically getting 1/10 ratings because someone didn't like the song.

To me, Vortex is a good idea of how Flashcore should me.

So if I become a judge I can just give a well-thought-out file like Sokuseki! Nouchoku Music System a 1/10? Sorry, no little Japanese girls on my watch. That seems a little unfair to the step artist, obviously I don't enjoy the song but I won't take away from people who do.
