Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
Your progress has been saved.
Everyone wakes up and gathers in the main hall. The prospect of a mystery weighs heavily in everyone's minds as they all groggily assemble. It is quite obvious though, that some people are missing from the gathering. "Where's that guy....you know...that guy who like uh, hides back like a lurker" "Oh, isn't he right over there? Hey, come join us so we can deliberate some more" Someone else points, and beckons to a corner in the back of the hall where there is a dark shape that looks like somebody is hunched over on the ground. After waiting a couple of seconds, someone decides to go over and drag lurker back into the center of the room. However, he returns to the group, actually dragging lurker into the gathering at the center. lurker, the guy-that-hides-back-like-a-lurker, is dead. He was a VANILLA TOWNIE ----- Everyone is stunned into silence. There's been treachery during the night as well it seems. No-one ready to admit any wrongdoings, but everyone suspiscious of eachother, they all glare at one another accusingly. "Perhaps, a headcount to see if there's any more missing?" "Well, obviously, the king is missing, I thought that was the entire mystery, where king Xiv has gone." "What about that fake king, the one that calls himself 'Xiz'?" Silence. Xiz is not among the assembly. "QUICKLY! To his room!" Everyone rushes to his still-closed door, and as the doors burst open, everyone is greeted with a nasty scene, one that gives the four surviving members from the shrine incident shivers from deja vu. The fall of the chosen one. Picking up the book laying near Xiz's bloody corpse in the center of the room, one of them reads aloud "You can't hide who you really are sunfan, i know you. Only I can hide who I truly am." Xiz(v), The King, is dead. He was a HIDER ----- "So this brings the death count to two, eh?" Someone non-chalantly throws lurker's body on top of Xiz's, unceremoniously combining the two into a disgusting pile. "Who else is missing?" silence while everyone counts off again. "9 people.... that can't be right... riot, xiz(v), lurker... who else is missing?" Everyone begins to wander around to check on all the rooms. All is fairly quiet until a scream is heard, coming from the kitchens. Everyone rushes in to see a body, collapsed over a tray of dough, uncooked and ready to be made into....what can only be postulated to be muffins, from the muffin tray that lay near the body. A clearly labled bottle of open poison was spotted wafting its pungent fumes through the air, causing everyone else to evacuate the kitchen immediately "He....he was not on our side, was he...." Charu, The Muffin Man, is dead. He was a MAFIA JOAT ----- "One mystery after another eh? Or just part of one giant mystery? We'll see I guess". Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
wow, someone should probably claim that charu shot, town is in a great position right now imo, blind is kicking gradient out of his top town position based on riot's willingness to kill him at the end of yesterday and I don't see riot doing that as mafia
was going to come into today saying that Charu calling out riot there felt like he was distancing so I preemptively take credit for something that I had no hand in dealing with. lurker assuming guest was sk is still super weird, doubt it means too much though and I doubt guest would actually kill lurker there if he was the sk. I'll post more later on when I'm not in a DM game. |

Or Xig hid behind Charu or lurker. Right?

Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
So:
o Mafia/vig/vig o Mafia/sk/vig o Mafia/(hider death)/SK (fairly unlikely since Mafia was killed) o Mafia/(hider death)/vig (my bet) I think? |

Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
This was my first thought, but I had to make sure I understood what the hider role was. Was thinking more that Ziv hid behind Lurker rather than him hiding a mafia, idk why, it was just the first thing that came to mind and I'll just stick with it for now.

Also, aren't you the one earlier that said Riot was random? Sure he's random, except when he's dead and you now know exactly what he does and doesn't do in games. Makes a lot of sense. |

Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
Maybe if the vigi replaced the wolf kill because then we could orchestrate everything, but I'm sure that's not the case. So why come out and say that we're in a good position right now, and then suggest something that would completely ruin said position? I really don't understand you sometimes tsunfan...

Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
if by some lucky chance we have a tracker that tracked xiz you should come out and say who he targeted. If he targeted somebody other than lurker or charu we found another red. This probably won't happen but it's worth mentioning. We definitely have a mafia goon left and there is a 33% chance we have a sk. Given the possible setups we have a handful of blues so we might be able to win this game pretty easily. Going to go back and read through riot/charu posts so we can try and find some connections.
also yosh you're doing a great job <3

Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
Having a vigi claim + other blues would give us a confirmed town and having 2 scum down at this point in the game is huge. Town is almost certainly going to win this game and we can break it wide open right here esp considering that the two scum roles that can fuck with the blues are dead.

Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
Not saying every blue should come out but if you have some super useful info to town you should probably say so. Also, high% chance there's at least one doc alive to save a town that claims. That's why I suggested that.

And yeah, Riot is random sometimes, but his like, delight, I guess, in participating in that wagon felt really genuine to me. Like, you could say that he was skipping through a meadow with flowers falling down around him for some reason when he voted for blind there imo.

Re: TWG CXIV - Coronation of Xiv
After several going throughs of random.org, I have gotten only one P (50/50 Doctor or Jailkeeper (who wouldn't help at all with the vigi situation)). That chance is not good enough to risk such an important role, especially since I think we've got somebody smart in the vigi position. I was null/slightly going red on him, but I don't think anybody else (at least saying so straight out in thread) thought he was definitively red enough to go on and kill him.
