Re: Ingame Song Information
I don't think it's worthy of being FGO... it's hard to PA but not at all hard to hit and not particularly hard to read. So from a AAAing standpoint it's harder than a lot of FMOs, but from any other standpoint it fits pretty neatly into the middle (ish) of the range.

Re: Ingame Song Information
I find Kono as a high FMO myself since even though I can get 4-0-0-0 on Skeletor, I cant even get under 40 goods on Kono. Reason why I cant do Kono and can do Skeletor?
Skeletor: I can EASILY jumptrill all the 32nd walls and and its not hard to read at all imo. (Best = 4-0-0-0) Kono: I cant read a lot of the rolls in this chart and on top of that even if I could read it I cant jumptrill them and have to actually have the speed and readablility in order to AAA the walls. I cant read some of the walls nor have the speed to hit some of them. I cant even jumptrill the left to right or right to left rolls accurately like in Skeletor. (Best = 41-0-0-1) That is my opinion on the two. Not sure about whether to keep it as FMO or move to FGO but I can not agree with it being a mid FMO >:[

Re: Ingame Song Information
The D5 song (forgot the name) feels much harder to me than spoon. Not sure how that even happened. To me, spoon is a mid-high FMO, like qq said, it's easy to hit, hard to PA. The D5 song is just hard in general.

Re: Ingame Song Information
This is probably why I'm decent at dealing with color gimmicks. It's not the color of the note that's the important part: It's the intervals between successive notes. For example, Toph's OP features yellow-cyan-cyan-yellow sections. After listening to how I was hitting them, I realized that these were just 24th rolls offset by a 16th.

Re: Ingame Song Information
the colors in the 32nd rolls make for mega lag on my computer and the whole thing ends up looking like a chunkie thrown up vomit of arrows. Also, clearly with my complaints about the difficulty of this and Purple Water people would realize that my skill is absurdly low and making things become very difficult to judge and play unless they are old files that I remember from when I played. I'm really ready to throw a tantrum, I'm kinda pissed that after 2 years since the last tournament where I was heavily misplaced I'm once more placed in a division where everyone is now far, far above my current skill level, which has been evident since the site came back up. Even Rushy has been consistantly better than me. Hell I can't even FC Reality anymore and I was put in D6. I have to wait a whole nother' ****ing year to try an official tournament, and by then I'll probably have quit the game at this rate, which I was going to do before this tourney due to my inability to play. This was my 'may as well have fun before I quit' and when everyone is doing moderate I'm barely popping 30 goods on this song. Clearly somethings wrong with me and yet I'm in D6. It's just frustrating. I probably wouldn't even top 8 D5 currently.

Re: Ingame Song Information
That's the reason I'm there, I can theoretically regain my skill, but with finals coming up and literally maybe 4 hours a week to play the game, the chances are slim. If I'm here next year, hopefully I'll do better, but there is no way I can do anything this round, this song is not only lagging up my comp like crazy, but my fingers no longer have the speed required for those rolls

Well Bballa I don't mean like "AW SHIT THIS IS LIKE SO EASY HUR HUR HUR" I recognize it has an extremely difficult section to it, but it's similar to K8107 in the matter of it has one difficult section and the rest is close to a difficulty below it. (The trills being difficult is debatable to me. Personally don't find them that hard, that jack section ****ing sucks I hate that section.) |

Runny Morning can be compared to Crowdpleaser, simple as that, where the hard part of the song (jack section) is literally to make it hard. The rest of the notes are almost fill-ins, if you will.

Re: Ingame Song Information
Amen Iraq is a 12.
Also, K8107 is the hardest VC. That or it's a low FMO, because I can consistently do better on other songs than this one. No idea why it got lowered. |

Personally, I don't think that's true. if you can trill well, it's actually really easy.

Re: Ingame Song Information
I have no idea why K8107 is a VC, and I'm sure a lot of other people will agree. That song could pass as a FMO better than most of the contested VC/FMO files could.
and Amen Iraq isn't a 12, high 11 is pushing it |

Re: Ingame Song Information
I'd definitely say it'd be a low FMO. The patterns with the jumpstream-trills at the end are quite difficult for a lot of users, and some of the streams are awkward to combo/PA. Adding to that, the trills, although easy to some people, are quite quick, long, and change hands frequently. I'd say it's a low FMO, not high VC. It's harder than a more than a few FMO songs.
For Amen Iraq, it's on the fence. It has quite a few hard bursts, some awkward patterns, and a consistent fast tempo and a decent NPS. I personally think that some of the harder parts of the song push it over the top, and I'd go with a low FGO.

Amen Iraq is fine where it is.
The most BS song for FMO is Novo Mundo, that shit should be a 10. Play it. |
