i... i not sure if good file... ;_;
isn't that the one in RFpack?

I think it's a fun file for the song, but I don't get some 16th rhythms.

I felt rhythms aren't going for the melody correctly in many parts.

also, jumpstreams at the ending don't make sense IMO.

Hi, this is my first time making a stepfile, so I need some serious critique.... Please tell me if any steps are off... This is for SM.

You were doing steps fine in the middle of the song, Kremlin, but the beginning and end were offsync. Try taking a song, record (Ctrl + R on 64th snap) some steps for it, then sync it afterwards for practice. It probably won't make a good simfile, but it's good to learn how to listen for offbeat arrows and tell which direction they need to move.

As for note placement, it's good enough (no breaking out into unnecessary trills, jacks, rolls, or staircases), but try to have more pitch relevancy.

Kremlin SHOULD NOT HAVE TO use 64th notes to find the timing of a song. If your BPM matches the speed of the song 4th and 8th's are all you need.

64th is for more advanced close tight knit steps for advanced difficulties and advanced step chart makers.

Trust the 4th and 8th note, plus your ear with the assist tick. If you cant find a mathcing *taptaptap* with your ticking and your 4th or 8th, then the whole thing will be off almost always.

I can't stress the story enough of how I changed one songs bpm by just ONE and the difference was highly noticeable.

That's what I mean... You Ctrl + R it on 64ths (with the right BPM, mind you) and snap it to where it should be on 4ths, 8ths, 12ths, and 16s. And again, not for making a simfile or finding the BPM, but for practice so it'll be easy to recognize where a 16th should be a 12th, and things like that.

But lies on not using 64ths. They are substitutions for crazy dynamic BPMs.

@Flip: Nice.

@Berzerker: Right after the mini-Crowdpleaser trill, there were a few out of sync bursts of notes. Otherwise, great sim!

Rated files this time. Don't feel bad if the rating of your file is low.

Otaku Speedvibe (Extremex)
misrhythms in many parts (24ths, etc), patterns (pitch relevancy, bad jack placement). [2/10]

Para Para Sakura (Kremlin_H)
All I can say about this is completely offsync.. find correct BPM and offset first. [0/10]

Scatter v4 (BerZerkR)
Beginning was fun but jack are just pretty annoying (plus 24th/48th ones seem incorrect)/song is repetitive, patterns/layering could be better but ok. [3/10]

Jakyo (Roi Siveran)
overall syncing is completely wrong, 24ths are completely out of place.. they are 16ths. [0/10]

the ongaku song (KlingPosnot) - heavy
misrhythms at parts/felt most of fast notes are going with nothing. [1/10]

Didn't test Flip's because it's on filefront.

O_o They ARE 16ths. I don't know what made me think they were 24ths. Lol, I'll fix that and reupload it.

Thanks for pointing that out.
