There are 32 arrows.. 32 ARROWS!!
When I play that song, I press the keys 32 times, not 33, 32.
It shouldn't be that hard to constrain your fingers from hitting the arrow key more than 32 ****ing times.

I think this thread is definitely necessary... What's the point in AAA the song and not getting #1 rank? And i disagree with anyone saying it happens on accident this much. I've AAA the song...20 or so times so far and not ONE has been a secret arrow AAA... This stuff shouldn't be happening and it sucks for the people who have to clean up the mess.

Yeah I just AAA'd exite bike and im sadly rank 3 when im supposed to be rank 1 until someone else aaa's it again and bumps me down witch i really dont mind =p

But yeah I agree wish Sash. People have been abusing secret arrows alot lately.

its amusing though.... cause none of you guys were around WAY back in the day, when EVERY easy AAA song had 10+ secret arrow scores above the AAA. At the time, Synth wasn't very involved with FFR, and nobody really cared about it.

eventually we got LD to wipe them all, but it took a LONG time. it's much much better now than it was 3 years ago.

Yea, I hit a secret arrow, I'll admit it, but it's no biggie that my score got deleted, I AAA'd it right away. I know that these scores don't count, and the people who hit the arrows on purpose are probably looking for attention. I mean, who wouldn't want to be the top rank?

By the way, out of every game I've ever played, the total number of times that I've accidentally hit a secret arrow, not noticed it, and gotten a highscore with it is zero (sans old Synes/Chrono).

I know it happens sometimes, but it's not nearly as common as people seem to claim. Also, if you hit one and notice it, FAIL OUT. It's just as bad if you notice it but keep playing as if you intentionally tried to hit it.

i've actually done it once Shash. 1st time i ever FCed playdoh, my finger slipped before i started and i hit a secret arrow. thought i just got a boo, so i kept playing. went on and FCed it.

felt crappy. until i beat the score a few days later with a legit FC.

then again, the score wasn't over a AAA.

this made me laugh, cause when i sightread AAA'd it, it said rank 25 and i was like WTF, and looked at the different scores, pretty much all of them were obviously intentional secret arrows, like maybe a couple of em werent but you looked at it and like the AAA score is 49000 and some had like in the 52000+.... so yea i think anyone with 515+ should have had their level ranks deleted...

I noticed it as well and fliped a comment or 2 to ppl that did it. The response I got was that they did it to get noticed or just for giggles. But they knew that it was wrong and that it would be deleted.

they probably didnt think all their scores would be deleted...i think people that have obviously purposly used secret arrows,more than once, should have their account completly banned from FFR for half a year.... its harsh but still, i think it would work in deterring people from doing it...

if you don't think i'm serious... i just deleted all the scores of 2 people. permanently.

you get 3 strikes... i deleted the scores once. they popped back up about 30 seconds later. deleted them again. they popped back up AGAIN about 30 seconds later... blacklisted. and then they showed up again afterwards. but now i'm just going to let them be until tomorrow (since clearly they're playing it right now, and deleting it won't do anything, cause they'll just do it again). but they'll notice eventually that their other scores are all gone.

3 strikes and you're out.
