I lost my favourite hat about two weeks ago. I'd owned it for just over a decade, found it in a store that was closing down for £10. It was an old, beat-up brown tartan bucket hat. I think it was made of wool but I don't know because it had no label. I wore it nearly every day, because it rains here nearly every day.

I now have a cold because I don't own an umbrella and got soaked walking to work.
