Oh wow... the only vote I'm having trouble now is the very last one. I'm absolutely torn.

Spitfire's Smash Brother's Master Hand fits because the series is a mash of characters from other franchises. The Games We Played is a mash of music from other franchises. It also looks very clean and pleasing to look at.

KrazyKitsune's take on it is more literal as some of the character's are on it which do appear in the music itself. I also like how the mouse hand is used instead of the hand used for the skill tokens, it adds to the overall theme to the image, the theme being old school.

...But I digress, my votes are in.

I love the smash token it's so clean and yet the other token has the characters...both are just so good!

I prefer the master hand token for TGWP. 1) Because it's a better design overall and 2) for me it better captures the feeling of epic-ness that this file requires. The choice of master hand is really neat because it incorporates the skill token image of the hand and to me anyway the master hand represents all videogames. So it's videogamey and is iconic - all that is nessecary for a TGWP token. It also lends a 'final boss' feel to the file which is appropriate since the file is the longest in the game and acts like a final boss to the regular TGWP parts 1 - 5 that are in-game.

I think I ended up voting for all of spitfire's designs. They're really very good. That's not to say there aren't other good ones there as well! I like both of the pony and kirlian shore designs.

Glad you like it. I wouldn't be sad losing to Spitfire, his token is very well done, with a dynamic composition and a good representation of the theme.

It's my favourite of the two for sure. I was originally trying to design a cracked or burnt token, but I couldn't make it look any good. Noname pulled it off really well.

I would like to see noname's token win for the earth blew up. The idea is really awesome and deserves to win. (didn't even know we were allowed to deviate from the coin lol)
Might be cool if the broken up token had the colors of the earth btw instead of all grey.

Xeno's token for this one looked a lot better skill wise, but I liked the idea of the stop sign a lot. The execution could be polished up though, maybe to look more like an actual stop sign

I guess I'll up and say, I definitely voted for noname's take since the song itself IS happy and fruity.

Just saw this sentence. TGWP is not a skill token btw, but a regular token. I used master hand because it's the final boss for the ssb games and since TGWP is a unique file I figured it could use a unique graphic with master hand, but regular tokens do not (and should not imo) feature the actual ffr skill hand.

Oh, I know. That's why I liked how KrazyKitsune changed it to a mouse hand, or cursor hand, whatever the actual name for that hand is.

It's not the FFR hand, but it mimics it and stands out.
