Yes there are some very good ones out there but it seems that people take the game WAY too seriously,Playing FFR shouldn't be a ultimate endurance challenge,It should be more fun and more of a leisure activity.

If you don't care for the song selection on FFR, once again, go to SM and download all the index files that there are.

But yes I am saying everyone should play spread because with the way ffr is now: It's forced. It's not changing anytime soon.

I don't like it but that's just how it is.
Lmfao, it's not really forced. I like to think of spread as the best technique that should be used for most players. For example, most people would agree that there is a proper way to grip a football when throwing it. Sure there are other ways of holding it, but it's been proven time and time again that the proper way of gripping it is the most effective. Likewise, it can be said that spread is the most proper way of playing FFR due to its increased effectiveness.

Sorry, but when it comes to any game, heck any possible activity, there are going to be some people that take it very seriously whether it's FFR, DDR, hockey, bowling, pie eating, bird watching, etc.

If jumps have 2 arrows, and you are playing with 2 fingers, why can't you hit jumpstream? Unlock your inner potential, be all you can be!

that's a few songs out of over a thousand songs on FFR (or at least many hundred if you're only talking about more recent songs)...just don't make broad generalizations about modern FFR as a whole

Well I'm not taking it so seriously as I did before. Spread is here to stay and that's how a lot of people like it; it is a leisure activity people enjoy. Just because FFR rarely steps to an old playing style these days doesn't mean the userbase are hardcore players. It's just how we like to play the game and we enjoy it just as much.

If you feel the site needs to go in a different direction, you are welcome to be the one to step up to the plate.

You can index hands and quads, you know.
Though you may have to remap to something other than the arrow keys in order to avoid ghosting issues with your keyboard.

This took 5 seconds of thought, there's so many jumpstream songs in DDR

Stop acting stupid.

And if you want songs in FFR without jumpstream, stop crying and go play level 8 and below songs, or learn how to play spread.

Holy **** your logic is making me band my head against a brick wall.
If FFR is leisurely for you, then you shouldnt be playing 9+ songs anyway, because by nature they arent casual anyways.
Those are for hardcore gamers.

Thats like telling someone who plays 2 games of DDR once a month to go play Pluto Relinquished on Heavy/Oni and have an easier time with it.

Dead End Groove Radar Mix
Fascination Eternal Love Mix
NGO
Trip Machine Climax
MAXX Unlimited
The legend of Max
(dare i say it) Paranoia Hades ~shudders~

^^^ other jumpstreams in DDR ^^^

unless you've been playing Konamix for 8 years straight. :3

As pertaining to FFR, the Jumps are usually used to accent a certain sound[s] in a song (usually some form of a drum beat behind a melody, as far as i've seen.) Step artists don't really make a file geared towards one type of player.

Plus, why not challenge yourself as an indexer, one-hander, however you play? (:

p.s. Pump it up has a shit ton of jumpstreams. <3

More indexable songs?
I started FFR way back, on index. Had the same problem when i hit challenging+, so i started focusing on spread and eventually switched over entirely. It was so worth it haha trust me.
