Also Halo 3 is in no way overhyped you obviously just had a bad experience with it, as for WoW it's the best MMORPG because it's the only one that is any good that i've played.

Halo3 is WAY overhyped.
I played it online yesterday and asked my friend if it was halo2.
Differences between Halo, Halo2, and Halo3:
Halo:
-pretty damn good game, for multyplayer. If you think the singleplayer was any good at all, play it on PC.
Halo2:
-new storyline, kind of.
-graphics are a bit better.
Halo3:
-new storyline.
-better graphics
-new grenades XD

and they all have this in common:
-PISS EASY, SHALLOW STORYLINE SINGLEPLAYER.
ps: I beat all 3 games on legendary on my day (and only day) playing them.
and here's a good one for why everyone buys it and says it's cool (runon sentence coming):
Everyone knows everyone else is going to buy it and LIKE it so even if it's a ****ty game like halo PEOPLE WILL GO AND BUY IT AND LIKE IT EVEN IF THEY WOULDN'T NORMALLY LIKE IT JUST TO FIT IN.

I've seen it before and 20 bucks says if microdoft decides to make another ****ty halo, I'll see it again.

Yes. Liking a science fiction themed video game is definitely popular. There is in no way that all of these people could actually enjoy playing the game. They've just been brainwashed, brainwashed, brainwashed!

Totally agreed. Most of my friends are halo fans and they say they hate COD4, even though they have never played it. Halo is dead to me now because that game pisses me off so much I wanna never play video games ever again. with COD4. I have never came close of be mad. Also its a way better game!!!

I sense Call of Duty vs Halo is going to be the next big video game community rivalry.

It's a shame, considering that while the Halo series is spectacular, it is somewhat overhyped, and Call of Duty 4's awesomeness is being overstated as well. CoD has a noticeable edge in my opinion, but it doesn't make Halo obsolete or anything. Rather, I'd say that which game you buy should be based on your preferred setting: modern or science fiction. And if you like both, buy both, since they're different enough that they don't feel like the same game in different settings.

No...I really didn't. Don't get me wrong, Halo 3 is by no means a bad game. It's a good game,not a great game though. And not even close to the God of video games much of the gaming world has made it out to be. Yes it has a good multiplayer. Yes the graphics are pretty nice, and yes it does indeed have some fun weapons to use. But, it's not this perfect 10 everyone has made it out to be. It's a good game, with good multiplayer, but that just does not make up for the rest of the game. I think the gaming world just got blind to anything wrong with the game just because that 4-letter word HALO was written in the title of the game on the box. It is not anything close to the 10 so many website's have given it. COD4 is a better FPS than Halo 3, but I do think COD4 is getting a little too much credit as well...but I still think it's the best game of 07.
