Dear god finding a way to do this I liked was fucking difficult. Usually listening to it 20-50 times works, but not this time it took just forcing myself to do it.

Welp. Have not finished my song in time due to lack of motivation and time. To top it off, my Internet provider decided it would be a great time to break down. I'm currently at a friend's house, which enables me to check my emails and whatnot.

Guess I lost this stepcon... not that I was confident I'd ever make it to the finals to begin with. Best luck to you all, fellow stepmen. I can't wait to see how this will end! <3

Open your stepping utility of choice, and do a sightread. One take, without spell check or dotting your i's.

If do don't submit, you will be eliminated -- but if you do submit a chart, you have a good chance of making it to round 2, when you will have time to sit down and mean business. Go for it

Welp, disregard my last post, holy shit. I've probably been the shittest friend every today; I actually finished my file and managed to send it in. Granted, my sync is awful for the color notes, but I guess it was necessary to get it over with.

For me it's not that the song is bad. The song's fine on it's own. Just it was really difficult to do in a time frame. I usually don't finish files in less than a week's time. (I charted this over two days pretty much.) I like to space out my charting. Keeps my mind more open. I also find the song to be a bit... Not as chart-able as it seemed at a glance.

Not gonna say I'm super happy with this take though. At least I finished it. I'll settle for that for now. If people somehow like it, even better. Gonna look at it after sleeping one more time.
