Lucky, I'm so glad this is my last wiiless day. Getting mine 20% off, $200 at target. There are 2 targets around were I live and one has 60 wiis, another has 120 wiis.

Okay, because I pre-ordered a second-run Wii at Game Crazy a week ago, I decided to call the EB Games in the mall to find out exactly what the deal was with their Wii launch. The guy could not disclose to me how many units they had (just like Best Buy) but told me that if I showed up at 9 AM (no sooner, mind you), I was guaranteed a system. Of course I was skeptical; there are already people camping out at Best Buy, no doubt. I asked him how they were handling the launch, and he had no idea; that was up to the mall and mall security.

I called up the Westfield mall office to find out the details. The girl on the other end did not give me a number of units, but did tell me they'd have HUNDREDS. In fact, their stock includes their ENTIRE holiday shipment. They don't expect to be depleted even by the Christmas rush! The mall opens at 7AM. There was a discrepancy about the store opening, however. Store said 9, mall said 11. I'm pretty sure stores have control of their individual openings, though.

If you live near a Westfield, call them up and ask if they have a Wii setup, and if so, about the launch. Please note that if that particular Westfield is not in Maryland, Illinois, Ohio, Connecticut, New Jersey, California, Washington (duh), Missouri, Florida, or New York, you're out of luck. Those are the only states that have a Westfield with a Wii setup.

I found the Westfield list. It's officially called the "Wii Mall Experience".

WHOA UPDATES: http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/nintend...cts-215823.php

I am so psyched for this system right now. I'll have mine in a mere 16 HOURS!

Oh, just a heads-up: if you plan on shopping with the Wii Shop Channel, go to nintendo.com right now and sign up for a My Nintendo account. You need to link an account to make purchases.

:/ The place where I wanted to get the Wii, Meijer, only has 8 units with 15 people waiting... wtf -____-; I'd get 10% off there plus if you buy an extra Wiimote with the system, you get a free nunchuck unit.. UGGGGGGGHHHHH WHY ONLY 8 WHY. :/

Please make sure you right long in depth reviews for the games. Im in the UK so I got to wait till the 8th of December. The only positive thing to this is your opinions and many gameplay footage videos. Im trying to look on the bright side...

I'll be able to take videos, but unfortunately, they won't have sound.

Funny.

After all this business about them producing more consoles than Sony and you guys are still worried about getting one?

Be patient. Won't they have more stock in before long? I doubt if each store got a total of ~20 for the whole holiday season.

Even if they don't, I would say still don't worry about it. Play demos in store if you're curious about controls, but it really doesn't matter if you get one now, because there isn't any MUST HAVE game at launch. Even the Zelda game, which probably is the best game to get here, has a presumeably equal in quality Gamecube version.

There are enough available. 81 at my target? That's a lot.

I'm going to go camp outside of one because my friend wants me to and I'm crazy enough to want this thing.

They have 84 at the Best Buy a minute away from me. I'm leaving for there in about four hours. There were maybe fifteen people when we drove by an hour ago, so things look good as of now. Bandit, wanna come? You're only an hour north :P

I really like the sound of this. I'll probably look into getting one after finals, or thanksgiving, depending on how my finals go. The only problem that I might have would be the price. Sure, it's a lot less than all the other systems on the market, but i'm a bit low on cash, and money in general, right now.
