Grats.
I say go for the Silverado. Nothing wrong with an Eclipse, but stay away from the Dodge. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Theres a realy nice Silverado in town and its got a 4" body lift and nice tires its black with tinted windows and im gunna go check it out.
Dodges are kinda know for breaking down, but not till after around 150k miles. I have to drive alot for my job so im getting something with low miles anyway you look at it. But Dodge trucks are more flashy than practical i guess, but i like them.

I would definitely get the Eclipse. You'll save money on gas, and I just don't really like trucks.
By the way, is the Eclipse a manuel?

All these people acting like there is a real difference between brands are just elitist.
Pretty much any modern vehicle will suffice. |

Eclipse is your best bet.
Though they aren't nearly as awesome as the new ones.

I'd say go for the Eclipse, but before getting another car, keep in mind that...

I think it would have been better if you wouldn't have said why you needed a new car. But...
Silverado. I know a few people who have Silverados and they enjoy them quite thouroughly. |

1. I'm not rich and i live with my wife.
2. I pay for all my own ****, because i have a JOB. 3. I was on backroads with CLEAR corners and no houses around (I Live in the country) 4. I respect all rules of the road when it comes to other peoples saftey and i would never drift with another person in the car. 5. I did get what i deserve by crashing my car, but thats ok! because i dont mind buying a new one. 6. i Dint claim it on insurance i called and had it towed, because my insurance would skyrocket.

This thread galvanized me to nominate Steve for dumbass of the year.
GG Steve PS, my grandparents live in Michigan. I'm calling them to caution them about driving. |

Whats your point? Thats the entire thrill of the subject. Blindly going into something dangerous that you have little/no skill with.
