Mtv has gone too far offtrack on music, and wondered off into the lives of teens and gangstas. Vh1 is still as it was before and has clean comedy (at least according to me) that has hidden morals inside. I was actually amazed that Vh1 is more dedicated to music than Mtv, I mean, music is in
mtv name (Music Television)

VH1 is a lot better because it actually focuses on music while MTV goes off on reality shows about stupid people getting drunk then having sex and then their bf/gf finds out and they are like OH HELLZ NAH and then they make a guest appearence and then all hell breaks loose. Seriously.

I JUST got MTV on my cable package the other day. I can't even stand watching it. That Sweet Sixteen show makes me wish I had a gun to shoot all the completely spoiled kids in the world.

She got a brand new car for her birthday then cried when her dad couldn't book her a band at the party.

Terrible station.

but neways, back to the Vh1 and MTV thing..

i think both networks have good shows and bad shows..
but if i wanted to catch some good music videos, Vh1 is what i'd probably watch..

Personally, I think they both suck. All that flashy Hollywood crap blows in general. But, VH1 has some decent shows at times, and MTV has totally forgotten the 'M' in its name. So VH1's better.

I love VH1 for it's music and special programs (The little episodes and all the I Love the ?0's), but I also like some of MTV's music... it's gotten much better and more balanced. If you're white you go to VH1 if you're black go to BET, but MTV is balanced (and I really like some of their shows and old shows).
