Well then, you don't know too much about pure int magicians. ASky Blue Umbrella has less matk than a Wooden Wand (15 vs 23). Aside from a wooden wand, you don't really need to buy anything for your pure int aside from MP pots, maybe. As far as weapons go, you can get a yellow umbrella at level 40 if you have the money (and you DEFINITELY will as a pure int cleric) but getting a lama at 43 is of HUGE IMPORTANCE. You'll want a well-scrolled one (or an above-average clean one and scrolls to put on it) as that'll be a huge portion of where your power comes from. The difficulty here is that there are a limited number of lama staffs, so if you mess one up with bad scrolling you can't really just get another one with ease.

As for other equips, you really just get a Sauna Robe at level 30 (just do the quest, it's not too hard if I remember correctly), unless by some weird circumstances we get Jipang before you hit 30, in which case you'll definitely want a bathrobe (they are awesome and are in the client for some reason). For shoes, get whitebottoms at level 26 (+3 speed storebought shoes) which you will probably 100% for speed later on when you have money to waste. Work Gloves and a Stolen Fence work just fine (don't waste money on a panlid, unless you find a cheapass one that has +hp on it). For hats, just keep whatever you get from Maple Island until you're 25 and get a pig headband, which you will eventually scroll 100% for HP.

To recap, here is what you should get and how you should get it:
-Crappy hat from Maple Island
---Pig Headband at L25 from quest. Eventually 100% for HP.
-Wooden Wand from Ellinia Weapon Store (don't scroll it or anything)
---Yellow Umbrella if you have money to waste at L40
---MAPLE LAMA STAFF, preferably prescrolled and godly at L43
-Crappy clothes found from stuff before level 30
---Sauna Robe from quest at level 30
-Shoes don't matter before L26
---Whitebottoms at level 26 from Henesys Armor Store. Eventually 100% for speed.
-Wooden Fence from Lith Harbor store (unless it's in a quest on Maple Island now)
-Whatever earrings you have from a quest. Pick one you like and 100% them for magic attack if you have spare money and then don't get any others. Extra mdef doesn't matter, so get one for looks and 5 matk and keep it.

Getting anything else would be a waste of money. Just NPC (or sell to stupid people for more than NPC) anything you get from monsters/quests (you'll get plenty, trust me).

Okay, thanks for the help, EB. Now I know what I need to do. I just need to be sure I follow the proper leveling methods. That comes to another question; should I immediately max Heal right after becoming a Cleric? Or should I follow a proper leveling method? Just asking.

I like the fact that I can start off with raising heal, but is it worth it? Is it also worth it to get maxed teleport (I won't have this maxed until level 70 if I follow the build)? And, as a Pure INT Cleric, shall I need HA?

o_O; wow that must be a pretty strong sader. My buster gives 10-12k each hit to it, and with booster Im sure me and the sader atk at the same speed. Also I had a lvl 101 sader that got banned and I dont think that even with combo saders can give as much/more than a DK.

It takes me 1 hour to kill painus, which only has 30mil exp. Zakum's 3rd body has 110mil exp >_> I think he had a CB to help him.

I got my zhelm by vaccing the arms off and getting to the 3rd body, but I had a CB friend with me. He was constantly dropping 5k bags with auto clicker, and it still took a good 30min.

I am selling my 103 atk OS and buying a 107 atk FF. My OS is selling for 35mil, and I think Im getting the FF for 155m. So thats 30mil for each extra attack.

Anyways, I bought a 10 atk dark imperial (5str 2dex) for 98 mil yesterday. Now all I need is the FF and a 10 str cape.

Then Im spending $60 on NX and its all going to dropping my dex and changing it to str. My DKs going through an extreme makeover right now lololol

Though I'm not a cleric I'm fairly sure that build is wrong. Isn't it

and you could throw a point in tele at like 31 just for fun.

PS: I'm quitting my warrior so I can go full blown on my cleric. I haven't been outbid in this Sabretooth auction yet, so if I don't get outbid, I'll buy the Sabretooth, and re-sell it. It's above avg BTW. This means I'll probably get about 500k from selling both the above avg Niam and the above avg Sabretooth. Maybe more.

Also, I'm keeping my warrior's top. It's scrolled (remember my last post from which I somehow scrolled a top? That's the one I'm keeping). I plan on giving it to some lucky lvl 25 warrior. BTW, I'll have plenty of stuff transferred. But, speaking of the event, I will probably keep my warrior long enough to do the event, then I'll just plop everything onto my cleric.

Discuss. I don't think this build will do very well

Good except for the 9 HA. HA is crap when it's maxed completely. When not maxed, it's even more useless. Level 9 HA is 38 attack (claw is 40 per hit) and 25% mastery. If you put those 9 points into Bolt (getting it to level 10), you'd have a 35 attack 35% mastery spell. You'd really use neither, so the best thing to do is put the 9 extra in Magic Armor, Bolt, and HA however you want to spread them so that you can at least cast the skills for show. *shrug*

Oh wait, 9? You forgot 2 points at level 67. You get 11 extra, but my point still stands. =P

Anywho (yeah stfu I like the word anywho), your main attack will be Heal so you gotta get that first. MP Eater totally owns and will keep you from using any potions (especially in your 60s, which means you can train for hours without a need to stop and repot), so 1 point at 31 and then maxing it right after Heal is a good idea. Teleport will waste your money until at least level 10, so even once you start getting it, don't teleport all over and waste MP/money.

They only changed some things (mostly 1st job skills). Heal is still split up and doubles MP cost between levels 15 and 16 . So yeah, he should still save points.

But seriously, if you do this, you will level up very quickly with relative ease. Bonk did that build (or something really close to it, at least) and he was level 60 in like two seconds. It was AMAZING.

Thanks. The only reason I put 9 HA there was because everything was maxed, and I wasn't sure of where to put it. And yeah, I got outbid on that Sabretooth auction, so I can go and get ready for transferring and everything. I'm waiting until I've finished the event though. That way, I don't have uber trouble trying to do the event. I can just plop everything onto my cleric when I'm done.

What can I say, I know my Clerics.

The first person to hit 70 on Scania was a Cleric, who hit 67 while 2x EXP was still on. That means he hit 67 in 9 days of 2x.

If the event is anything like last year (and it will be) then you'd be better off using your cleric for it. Melee people have trouble getting kills on these event monsters cuz Wizet tends to put them in just a few areas so that DAMN NEAR EVERY PLAYER is attacking them at once and you'll have no chance to kill the turkeys. They have next to nothing for hp, though, so even a low level cleric would be able to kill them from a range more easily than your warrior.

And stop spending so much time tweaking low level characters. You don't really need to start doing stuff or trying to make or save a few measly meso. Train for meso. You'll get drops and experience and move on to bigger and better drops. Time = money.

I'm doing my build like this: Heal, Mp Eater, Bless, Teleport, Invincible. Already maxed heal, mp eater, and bless - I did bless for parties.

I hit level 57 today - I got ~17% in one hour at zombies cause I was partying with a level 63 fighter friend of mine.. O_o the exp was crazy - I normally get ~12-14%



Squeek remember before when we were talking about anakamoons? -_- I was chatting in the fm entrance with this 57 sin.. and he dropped an anakamoon and I took it. He said I could have it since he didn't need it. Anyways so I got look at the stats... and its +6 int, and above the defense of MY anakamoon.

>_> I guess I wasted 600k on a +5 int anakamoon... when I got a +6 int one for free. Oh well. I'll sell the other one in the FM for 800k XD. And i'll hopefully be able to find/buy a dark manute with the money from the anakamoon.
