For fun = Who cares? If you find it fun, then go for it. Not anyone elses business.

I use the bar for Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, LoM, and both the PSM's.....

It's funny around where I live. The good people who play heavy, don't even touch the bar, and yet those who play life, look like they'll die if they let go of it. It's actually quite sad.

CAn't understand why you would bar rape...its easier for me not too. Besides you can't do it in tournaments, even on 10 foots, we're only allowed to hold the bar a few seconds to regain balance, its easier to get used to not doing it.

oh and also, you shouldn't argue who's the best. I've seen alot of ppl freestyle the maxes without bars and double...course these ppl can AAA the 8s and 9s easy so....just practice till you do that...then brag, its what im gonna do.

Different people have different methods of playing. Only elitist pricks look down on people that use the bar.... it's like looking down on people that use 2 hands on SM or FFR.

And the tournaments around me allow bar raping and mods.... they want everyone to do their best.

When I first started I used the bar.... and these were like 1-3 footer songs. I looked pretty dumb.
But I never use the bar now... (I can play up to 9 footers, maybe Sakura on heavy, but have never tried.)
And yeah, I agree with FishFishRevolution, the arrows are all I'm worried about while playing, and because of this I forget to blink, and that dries up my contacts, and they usually end up falling out!!! I've probably lost up to 6 contacts playing ddr!

yes its my style, but im not an elitest prick, just couldn't understand how ppl, use it, i have wosre balance on a bar without it.

He said that because there are people who use the bar, and there are people who don't. I mean seriously, why do you think the bar was added to the machine in the first place? So yeah, maybe I don't have such high standards for DDRing skills or whatever lol, but i personally think that doing any song that's 6+ feet with the bar is reasonable. But that doesn't mean that i'm gonna pick on those kids who are using the bar on standard or light, because they're all trying to learn. Like even look at me, when I was first learning I had to use the bar for Afronova Primeval (light) :S

If you use the bar, that just means you're doing a song that you aren't really ready for.

Sure it's cool if you beat some 10 footer using the bar, but the taste of success will be much sweeter without it.

thats not really true though...many people bar rape certain parts of songs especually when theyre playing oni...it helps a little because you can keep your balance and be more accurate
