![]() Absolutely not. If you're a fan of non-pop electronic music where I live, you are $h!t out of luck. Even full-feldged record stores barely carry any of it here. We have a top 40 station, an "alternative music" station (rock), and a hilarious hip-hop station where everyone pretends they are certified gangst0rzlol11. Everything else is country or adult contemporary. I can do the adult contemparary or the "alternative" on occassion, but otherwise, I'm not listening to the radio.
It's really sad too because we had an electronic station for about 1 and a half years. No commercials, straight music and every night they had a dj come into the studio and mix nonstop from about 8 p.m.-3 a.m. It was so great and, of course, no one listened to it and it died. I actually think they still web stream at www.q969.net or something like that. |

![]() San Diego, man! I am disappointed in you. No good radio stations at all. There is NPR, but NPR without KCRW might as well not exist. At least in the desert we had KCRW.

![]() The radio around here is diverse, and that's about it. It's got a mix of everything including Rock, such as Classic and Arena. There's Top 40, rap, R&B, and hip-hop. There's the Christian station and then the country stations. There's even Opera and the best station ever is the French station. 24/7 French talk and music, quite an interesting thing to listen to at 6am on the way to school.

![]() Dallas has 95.3 The Range, so no other place could have better radio.
It's all old country and a little bit of new country, but mostly more local Texas bands who are actually good. They focus on a thirty-five year old demographic, so most of their country is from the eighties, which I've found is incredibly awesome. 96.3 plays a little more new country than old, but the old that they play is early nineties stuff, which is what I grew up on. 99.5 plays about 95% new country, about 95% of which sucks balls. The old stuff they play is ten to fifteen years old, though, so I can catch some good stuff there. 96.7 plays exclusively new country, so it sucks. 820 AM has a morning show and Mark Davis, so it rules. <3 Conservatiwe talk radio. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Kube 93 Rap[no] / [hip hop] / R&B[no] I think they have a playlist of 6 hip hop songs that people think are cool but suck ass and put it on repeat. Then we have FunkyMonkey 104.9 the rock station. They play some pretty good music although I don't listen to it anymore. Matter of fact the only time I listen to my radio is when my alarm clock goes off. Otherwise I have my MP3 player.

![]() The Radio in the Bay Area, California sucks ass. There is some R&B, Hip-Hop, new country that is trying to be rock, and of course Green Day. I swear, Green Day is on the radio every day. They have like 3 popular songs. When will they die? Well, I think they have died, but when will the radio realize this?
Pretty much if you like something that is not pop, then you are out of luck. Radio has been dead for years (as far as I am concerned). |

![]() Detroit pretty much has the best radio stations out of any of the places I've been to. (I also live next to Detroit, so I may be slightly biased.) However, judging by the responses of the people who don't live in Detroit, it's probably safe to assume that Vash and I are correct.

![]() There's really only one station that plays the rock music of now including few from the 80's and 90's and that's 100.3. The station also promotes poor signaling...
Then there's the two hit music stations, 93.1 and 103.3, which I barely ever listen to... The other stations play country; not good for me. =/ Idaho sucks...
