Default aperson marks the dawn of a new era

The first time any FFR user that wasn't Hyro, Mwerp or Arch released a good onsync simfile with "Run the Place Red"

Give this guy a fucking prize or something, he deserves it, cause his experience finally paid off.

Nima, really, untill you make stepfiles, you really have no clue. You just play them. It becomes totally different when you actually start making them, you notice small things like such and such arrows being slightly off, how to fix it, etc. I don't care if you can AAAA Payon one handed while building a time machine, if you don't make stepfiles it becomes way harder to tell if something is off or not. I only started seeing alot of files being off after I started making alot of my later stepfiles (around my 30 or above mark)

My more recent steps are onsync.

But arch knows...he stepfiles are sync'd like....dead on. no mistakes.

aperson did a great job on this. the song would have been pretty damn hard to step, and the steps are really nice.

ok I will download them but ya, I do make stepfiles I just don't release them for a couple reasons; I'm not too good lol, and my stepfiles are too insanely fucking hard. But maybe that's true.

Yes nima... but you really have no idea.

In that song there were places where he pasted pieces together so on the freezes I had to randomly notch up the bpm by about 10 in places to discretely get it back on sync.

Well i thought it was a great stepfile man.I played itonce, and i was hooked, cuz i love the song.I have made about 15 stepfiles, never released them cuz i want to be able to beat my own first,(that may be a little while). But once you start making them, you really do notice a bunch of timing errors. But hey, many people have made good steps, but it just seems like Arch is just to stuck up on his high fuckin horse to give any people who are trying some fucking credit that they deserve. If you don't give any of these people credit, and just flame them all the time, then people won't want to make them anymore, or at least release them, and then you WON"T get any good onsync steps.^_^

Uhh. After my first few simfiles Arch stated that my simfiles were about as ugly as a Janet Reno porno. And look what I've turned into... someone good at making DWIs. Nice argument there chief.

And For Christ's sake, if you can't figure out the bpm and gap of any standard electronic or simple time-sig song (like 99% are) in under 10 minutes, you suck. Two minutes in Goldwave and I can give you the gap of a song to 5 significant digits...

Where did you get the idea that i can't sync songs? I just stated that after writing some stepfiles, you noticed how alot of other songs you used to play were off.

And about Arch's comments, it would make sense if it was some CONSTRUCTIVE critisism, not just stuff along the lines of ... "wow, that really sucked" and crap like that. But just saying shit to people unless the steps are 100% perfect is kinda makin him look like a dick to a bunch of people, mainly n00bs.^_^

Winner...

Until you actually start getting songs by talented artists. I'm working on Paradigm shift by liquid tension and it a) Has about 5 bpm changes in a minute, and b) Shifts by 32nds between bars in many places.

i know...i like rock songs, but its hard to do a stepfile for one because most of it has one common beat throughout the song, and the steps get real boring and monotonous...oh and plasmix i think ill send you big balls...just becuase i know you want some
