I'm not sure but I know there isn't a huge difference between level 1 and level 20 booster. It is more for the duration and the mp/hp cost. 30 hp/mp is a lot, especially if booster doesn't last very long. Soul is only useful to save Use slots (no arrows) but it is a hassle to use at lower levels. I'm not sure when to get focus because I didn't get it at all. Thinking about it, it might be more beneficial to get bomb during your 4x but you need decent pkb in order to mob things well so it is up to you really =/ The only reason I got arrow blow after mastery was because I wanted to train at stone gollems, which didn't turn out very well lol. I use arrow blow quite a lot in 3rd job, but again, it is all on your personal preference. Bomb is very strong and it'll help you level faster so its up to you =) Good luck haha.

Mage's booster is the only booster that gets better between level 1 and max. EVERY OTHER CLASS's booster is the same at all levels, it just gets more cost efficient (more time, less mp/hp cost). You'll max booster eventually as a crossbowman, but most people recommend getting it to 5-6 while getting other skills.

Thing with Soul Arrow is, it has EXTREME DURATION per point (30 per level rather than 10 with booster and most other things), so you can just put a few in it and have it be just as good as many more in booster.

Honestly, with the addition of the flyeye cave, I would go mastery -> 5 booster -> 4 or 5 soul -> maybe a few more booster -> enough iron arrow to rape flyeyes -> whatever.

The idea is that flyeyes totally own, so you want your mob skill to totally own on them. OF COURSE I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ARCHER SO TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT!

EDIT: Oh yeah, as for focus, I recommend **** FOCUS. Skills cannot stack. Focus adds the same amount to avoid and accuracy as Bless. If you party with a priest, focus becomes useless. Also, it's another buff to keep up with. AND DON'T SAY ARCHERS NEVER PARTY, because in 4th job everybody (except maybe mages) are going to LOVE partying archers. O___O

Honestly, I'd get more Blessing before I'd get Focus. Not having slightly less avoid isn't gonna kill you. =\

EB, problem being... You can't get into the flyeye cave all that safely because of the sharks there unless you have hb =/ Did you forget that archers are really fragile? Sins train there because they have dark sight and mages and warriors can get in there no problem. I don't know a single archer that trains in there because the flyeyes rape archers until you get rain =/

I would help him in if there were sharks around the entrance. Because most people avoid sharks like the black plague except to go to pianus, the entrance is clear a fair amount of the time, since those sharks are the only ones most people kill.

Crossbowmen do not mob well, EB. They have one flaw.

Iron Arrow is a straight-shot. If it's not in that tragectory, you won't hit it. It's PERFECT for maps like Forest of Dead Trees IV, but flying enemies or maps with crazy elevation changes, it sucks. A lot.

The map my crossbowman trains on is basically a long, flat platform on the bottom, then a smaller flat platform up top. One Double Shot almost always kills the enemies, but it's more fun to Iron them all toward me, jump on to some ledges above them to get around them, then DS them one by one just to be certain that the DS I fire WILL KILL IT.

I hate it when I fire a DS and it doesn't kill the enemy, then I think it did and I fire another DS. That hurts. It's also the only problem I had with archers. Unstable min/max damage. If I criticalled, I 1hkod. If none of the two hits criticalled, I didn't.

Well I'm bored as hell so I've decided to post.

Let's see, what has happened recently.
My DK got banned during the mass ban recently at the ripe old age of level 76. No big deal, I was kind of waiting for it to get banned anyway.
I started a pure int Ice/Lightning mage yesterday which is now level 22 (and sexy, refer to my avatar =D.) Speaking of which, I love unrandomizer, 4 str, 4 dex, 4 luk, 118 int at the moment. =D

Ummm lets see.... Oni is 96 with 25% -_- I want level 100 but last time I tried to train I got a total of 3% before dieing twice due to lag. I'll get there eventually...

Papulatus still rapes me. He loves to dispel me at perfect times to get me killed, like when I'm:
A.) crossing over at the last second
B.) cornered against a wall
C.) standing on top of a bomb
D.) lagging
You get the picture. Maybe I can finish this quest by the time I'm level 120. -_-

Nothing else has really been happening I don't think, I'm looking to scrolling an overall soon but no one sells 10% overall INT scrolls, so if anyone gets one let me know.

OH and one last thing, I have some great screenshots to upload of my DK (pre-ban obviously) [Hint: client-side hacks] but I'm too lazy right now and should probably get to sleep because I have exams starting tomorrow. So anyway good luck to people who are still playing and incase I don't post until then, Merry Christmas. =P

I grinded from 65-70 in 4 days. 1 day is easy to do, I mean come ON. I'm a ****ing archer lol. Anyways.. I have a week's worth of hw sitting in front of me so I should stay away from all distractions lol -__-
