Oh btw, I would be on, but I freaking put of this Java program that is due tomorrow night. If I plan on spending any time at all with Jenna tomorrow I better have it done tonight, so I might not play at all this weekend. Kinda sucks, cuz I was playing late last night and didn't lag like, at all. Everybody is gone home for the weekend I guess, so I get most of NCSU's network to myself. Got to 20% at sharks in no time. I could so easily whoosh up to 100, but there's 1) little motivation to do so (no 4th job ), 2) homework D=, and 3) lag 95% of the time here at State. =\

BUT YA KNOW, WE COULD JUST ABOUT DO A VIKING PARTY WITH JUST PEOPLE FROM FFR! Me, Jay, Oni/Afro, Jason (if he'd want to -__-), Tee, and uhhh, I dunno who else. Keeto is getting on up there, he can almost do DT parties with us, WHICH WE SHOULD TOTALLY DO AND GET HIM TO 88 SUPER FAST. Eric like, stopped playing. And uh, I dunno, who else in the guild is >88 or close to it? =\

I still wish Cam was on Bera, though. You could probably train with me at Sharks. I go around misting them all, and once you see the clouds dispappear (clouds last almost as long as it takes for them to fully die, so if you see them poisoned and don't see the cloud still, you can kill them in 1-2 hits) you hit them from safety with Rain (or bomb if they're far away). If we were partied you'd get normal leech exp as long as you hit the final hit on them (which would be most of the time if I was just focusing on poisoning and you focused on killing), which would be quite a freaking bit (at least 1k, I believe) for a 1 hit kill.

I guess I could do that with anybody, but archers can hit sharks consistently so much sooner than other classes. I don't want warriors powerguarding the crap out of sharks for me cuz they'd get hurt so bad. =\

um... the jewels / plates in my invent were all from quests ._. the dark crystal I refined though, cuz it looks cool, and I'll need it in ~6 1/2 levels.

EDIT: And Noah, by lvl 72 or 73 I should have a 100% hitrate on pirates. As long as I can get a priest who won't leech (under78) I should be able to lvl at around 15-17%/hour, and flying to 80 will be a breeze. By 80, with maxed fire and how dex/acc won't be a problem, I should be able to fly through duals to 88.

Of course, all is relative to my training speed.

I'll see you at vikings in about a year or so =P

Larry, get a priest at death teddies. I don't see why you're so set on pirates, Death teddies are not only weak to fire aswell as pirates, but they give more exp and its not a mixed monster map like pirates is. Death teddy exp with a priest is awesome. Even better if they have decent HS.

I wish I was in bera too but I love too many people in scania to move to bera =/ Bera is also just as crowded now from what I hear so there really isn't a purpose in moving. I tried thanatos and I don't miss anymore but I died because it bumped me into the corner then raped me with magic -___- I was playing on my mage a lot too and got to 28 haha.

Tyler is very much correct about blue pirates sucking balls. Also, you're probably more likely to find a cleric at DTs because they're undead and clerics would be there soloing and might party you. There are also organized DT parties sometimes like at Vikings, but you'd need to be 80 or whatever for that (I forget DT's level >__>). It helps rush you to 88 for Vikings, though. =)

Of course I'd go.

=O! I didn't mean that in a bad way or anything, just that I know that when I'm at your level I won't be too excited about grinding, even if it is with a party of friends.

PS: Cam, I meant I wish that your current character was in Bera so that I could party with you on it.

PPS: I'm still doing that program. It'd prolly help if I stopped checking this thread every so often and distracting myself. >__>

I switched video cards, my other one got fried, and this one dosent support 3D anything. So, you won't see me on. Check me on global though. O.o

I get completely raped by DTs. Even though % I can hit it is only 4% less than blue pirates, I doubt I'll be able to go DTs, unless someone like Bonk follows me around and spam heals. With a 78% hitrate next level, I don't see why any priest would follow me around instead of soloing. Of course, I don't know alot about DT parties so enlighten me I guess =\. Pirates don't rape me with 1k+ magic attacks unless I'm dumb enough to jump. Marselino's guide also says that DT's are mainly for ice while fire should go pirates for a while until they can go to DTs effectively with fire. At my current lvl, I have yet to KB a DT and I KB a pirate about 1% of the time =P, so I guess the real difference is the mattack raping me

And no, I will not give up any fire for ice.

Hmm... I'll enlighten you on my experience at DTs previous levels. At level 74 or so (I think) was when I first began soloing with ice. Level 75, I met a priest there, buddied him, and occasionally he parties me. It's interesting, cause MOST priests there (the ones I've met), haven't really had a problem with partying me even though my hitrate is mediocre. About the magic attack thing, that doesn't matter AT ALL. The priest follows you around the entire time. Say you're in a huge ass DT mob. You'll come out with 0 HP lost because the priest will be spamming heal. Seriously, you will NOT get raped by the matk be ANY means with a priest following you, unless you're stupid enough to go out of heals range or something. KB obviously doesn't matter either. Trust me on this one, with a priest, DTs are the way to go.

And uh, I'd let you borrow my snowshoes if you let me borrow your sword ;_;

For whoever mentioned it:

DTs are level 85, so party members have to be level 80 or higher to get leech exp. This isn't an issue when it's just a cleric and a warrior though.

And about this bonk/larry business: I can donate some of my HP gear to bonk if it'll let him be able to take hits there. I doubt it'd be enough, but it's not like I'm using it or even need it. Either way, Bonk, you need to be sure to get 1 in ER early. It helps so much.
