DDR Copycat show offs

It happened to me earlier today while I was the arcade. Here I am, walking up to the DDREX machine. I played Paranoia rebirth 3 times straight *shrugs, because i'm trying real hard to improve* on standard. THEN, when I get off, and finish with a B average * i was really proud of myself, believe me i was* and then some 20 yearold guy steps up, and PICK PARANOIA REBIRTH ON HEAVY! Jeez, and then he gets an A. I honestly didn't care but then he turned around and gave me the most ANNOYING smirk ever. GOD was i ever mad. Just wondering, has something like this ever happened to you? when someone just comes up and plays the same songs you did, and acts like some smartass?

especially when they bar raped the song to beat it and they got like a a B. then you go up and choose the same song and get an A on it (no bar raping)....
btw, i only done that once..
im not that much of a jerk..but its still fun when you think about it

i think ive done that to a few people b-4, i felt pretty bad becuase it was my best song (ecstasy, aa'd it >.O) the only...song...i can...aa >_<

The last time I played at the Aracade, the dude tried an ONI course starting off with AMP-32 on Heavy. He failed miserably. To make more of an ass out of himself, I A'ed MAX300 on Standard (the first time I did I fucking screwed up the last step and failed...damn that sucked!), I did some other crap but I can't remember all that right now.

A'ing max 300 standard isn't really an accomplishment that would put someone to shame. And how did you go from playing it and coming so close to failing that you actually did on one step to A'ing it, because one step can't make you go from an E to an A.

i dun go to arcade to play it, i can play in the comfort of my home on xbox (gettin xbox live soon, will definitely challenge synth to a match)

if the person who played Rebirth on heavy (talking to healing) real likes the song so what, i always play rebirth even if the person be4 played it and either AA'd it or failed it...

when i started out playing i was happy to get a B on anything light, but then of course a person would come up and A it heavy, but i wouldnt care, theyve been playing longer...no pont on getting mad...they were u once...

ddr for xbox is bullshit (i have it was well) stick with ddr for ps2 people.

I dont try to show off, but it just happens anyways. For example, I as teaching this girl ot play and she chose Dark Black Forest (DDRMAX) and I had the steps memorized so I started doing handstands on the freeze arrows (it was on light). All her friends thought I was a jackass afterwards but who cares...

I'm really lucky and the regular players at my mall at home are all really nice. Never had something like that happen to me, thankfully.
In my (limited) experience, it is a nice feeling to watch someone play and be like "wow I could do better than that". I dunno, I'm just a competitive guy I guess
