Well, u've got one bruh, i'm a fan of hip hop. I listen to it when i can, in fact, i jus got Outkast's new album, Idlewild. Don't get it twisted though, i still listen to all tha other types of music though. And actually, some rap is a bit annoying, like G-Unit (except Lloyd Bank's new song), Chamillionaire and (who?) Mike Jones. They're played out to me. Any other takers on hip hop?

lol the start of that was one very painful thing for me to read.. If you read stickies you'd understand that typing with proper grammar and such is more appreciated on these forums... I'm sure I don't mean much to you seeing as I have such a low post count but seriously...

And for the original question:

There are almost 1 million users... I'm pretty damn sure someone listens to rap.... I mean come on, be serious. Only way nobody here listens to rap were to be if there was a lie-detector you take prior to sign up and if you liked rap or hip hop or somethign you were permabanned from the site... like... music discrimination on a music game... with a hip hop section.... makes sense to me :O

count the amount of rap songs listed in the simfiles section compared to rock and you'll see why the question arises.

although it could be worse- there could be an over abundance of country music.

Cypress Hill, J5, Jedi Mindtrick, Public Enemy, Fugees (mostly Wyclef and Lauren Hill) ftfw. I don't know what that crap is you call rap and hip hop, but it isn't either apparently.

Wow, relentless aren't you? Sorry to offend with the typing, i'm obviously new at both posting and this FFR game. The slays weren't necessary, but not all hip hop is bad in general. Of course, there are artists out there who rap about redundant topics like "bling" and what they like to do with women, but there are artists out there like Talib Kweli and Mos Def that rap about REAL stuff that a lot of people can relate to. And yea, the hip-hop section is a little dry on this game, and most all of them are easy, which is no fun. But in my eyes, i perfer a lot of pure music over the actual lyrics, u know??

Hip hop sucks altogether. Rap is good depending on who it is.

R & B is lyrically repetitive and is only good listening for sounds.

R&B? true, but there are some songs out there that you can relate to, relationship wise (sometimes), so it's not too bad. You prefer rap over hip hop? that's crazy!
