my old keyboard got broken and i got this new one, but in stepmania i noticed how i can do half of the button combinations that were in my previous songs(ex. up-left-right at the same time or all four arrows at the same time) how do i get stepmania to recognize all of my keys prorperly?

switch key configs. some keyboards don't recognize certain three- or four-key combinations, so you just have to mess around until you find one that does work.

ps this has nothing to do with stepmania, your computer isn't recognizing some key combinations because your keyboard isn't wired to do it

my keyboard doesn't recognize all four arrows at the same time, so i have to use the keypad instead. Works with all four, so don't think you have to go out and buy another keyboard.

my uncle had a spare(he works with cpu's) now im back on track
