This is true. They're getting shorter and fatter.

I'm around 34x34, but whenever i find the 34xwhatever is usually freaking huge like 38. or if it's whateverx34, the length is like 28 or something. It's quite an inconvenience.

Shorter and fatter for a reason.
Their own body weight crushes their body down and so they never grow. Stupid fatties. Oh yeah, I'm around average height (5'6, 5'7'ish). |

5 short people in one grade isn't surprizing unless your grade has 25 people. There are like 25 people in my school who are really short, big deal that's like 2% of my school population and in my grade there are probably over 25 people who are over 6' tall including one of my friends who is 6'6".
5'6" and 5'7" is short... 6'0" is about average for a full grown male. (In America, I don't know about North Ireland, damn leprauchans)

I'm currently 6'1" (and a junior)
The thing is, I haven't grown at all since the beginning of my freshman year. Most of the grades in my town have huge variants in height. It's a mixed bunch, not really all tall or all short. I don't think we really have enough circumstantial evidence to say anything about the height of a generation. I think its just some kind of standard variance.

1. Children are getting shorter.
2. Don't bump dead topics.
