Childrens Getting Shorter - Page 2

Disregarding everything that's been said so far (because I don't feel like reading all of it :P ), at my high school, there seemed to be two distinct heights. People of every class were either STUPIDLY SHORT or REALLY TALL. There were, obviously, some outliers who are a more normal height, but the majority seemed to be really short or really tall.

This is true. Some people around 5'1", but most people are around 5'8" at my school. Many people over 6' though. There's a volleyball player who's 6'8" I think. I hate being short (5'3-4" about)

I'm 5'10 or 5'11 and I'm a Sophmore. I'm taller than 80% of the Sophmores in my school.

Is everyone sure they were much taller,or does it just seem that way becuase you all have grown and they look alot shorter than your current height.

For example, when I was in grade 1, there were these monster huge grade 7's(back in elementary) When I reached grade 7, I thought that I was really short until I noticed that i was much taller than them, even though that they seemed like "monsters" to me back then.

I'm 6'3" (or 6'4", i was told i grew over the summer). I'm a junior, and I almost
tower over everybody. Well, not really but most people are under 6' and around
5'10" or something like that. But being tall is kinda lame, since I was around
5'10" in middle school, I guess I've grown around an inch or so every year.
People, will ask you if you know that "you're so tall", which actually gets pretty
annoying.

I'm 5'9'' and there are times when it feels like everyone is taller than me. Never has there been a time when I felt everyone was shorter.

Well...at my school I see the Freshman kids getting shorter than ever. I don't know about all you guyz high school but I still think student these day are getting shorter. It maybe cause some student maybe mix with different race. I still don't yet..

its true, i visited my high school and found out that there were people that looked like 6th graders. For an asian, 5'8 isn't that bad, but my g/f is 4'10 and she's asian. I just think God should stop shrinking people and let them grow.
