And now that his target audience is all grown up, so is the subject material in his show the Eye's of Nye.

Apparently the show has been on the air for a while, however I just learned about it last night. I was so excited. Seriously, I got a new computer, I have in my possession Season 1 of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Bill Nye is back on the air, I am in nerd heaven.

I used to love Bill Nye...
But. Some kid from Cornell came back to substitute my english class last year, and he said that he had dinner with Bill Nye and a bunch of other people because Nye has some connection with Cornell(I dunno if he went there or something). Anyway, he was disappointed to learn that the real Bill Nye is actually annoying, and not the 'cool scientist' type of annoying. It was more of the 'I lack social abilities and say weird stuff around a dinner table' annoying. Meh. |
