But I use mana pots with MG off, I just cast a lot and have very low MP Eater. I gain over a million per level assuming I don't get any equipment, and I level every 5 hours. You may gain more per level, but I'll level faster, so I may end up gaining more money per hour :P
But man, in terms of EQing, Mana Elixers? I never use those, I use the Sundae because it heals 2,000 and I have 3,xxxMP, and I don't like to mana pot often. Screws? Worthless to me, I'm not going out of my way to resell them. Salads, well, I can resell them for 4,200 mesos, so no big deal if I get them. Scroll for Cape for Weapon Def. (10%)? I might as well drop it on the ground. No one's wasting a cape on that ****. I think I'll continue to sell them to the store, because mana pots only heal 300, and you only get 15 of them per 100 tails. Dude, that's like, freakin' 2.25 Sundaes per 100 tails. I'd do that if they had a 100% drop rate on tails, but they don't. I'm better off just selling them to the store than hoping to get lucky and get some crap. If the odds are equal on all of the items, then I'd be averaging 3,740.2 mesos per 100 horns, rather than 5,000. It'd be okay if people actually wanted the cape scroll, but they don't. And yeah, I'll hate Grupins in 5 levels, so I'll move on to something else. Grupins are already easy. I compared my damage to a level 69's, there was only about 300 in difference. And yeah, he was the same class. Maybe he just built his wrong, or something. And I practically never miss them, I hit them probably 19/20 out of 20 times, so accuracy's not a problem. EDIT: I know they drop icicles, but I like tobis more <.< They sell for more, anyway. Last edited by ToshX; 08-15-2006 at 04:55 PM.. |

You still have nothing on me. 6 levels is nothing.. I've been on zombies 6 levels already. Before that? Lorangs for 20 levels.
I kid you not. They were the only good experience.

But you have an AoE attack, and those are really, really fun(in my opinion). You also have a normal attack, like we do, except it freezes.
--- Played for about 20 minutes. Tobis and a lvl 50 archer robe(male) dropped, worth 95K to the NPC. Tobis dropped after 3 minutes, archer robe after 11. |

How many times must I tell you. Everything gets old eventually. Even those really fun AoE attacks.
And for the record, the chance of getting each thing is not equal. You'll just about never get the cape scroll.

Good enough for whatever it is you'll be fighting down there with it? I don't think I'll be going at all, except possibly to fight this boss (doom flounder? what a stupid-ass name...).

Yeah, I figured that, considering it's a scroll. That's kinda a good thing though, because it's completely useless. Honestly, I bet I'd have trouble selling it for 10K. But still, I like the stability of money flow coming from just selling them. If I get particularly greedy, I'll just sell them in the store thing I bought, which people will probably buy, since they buy horns for 100 each.
Played for a little less than an hour. ![]() Another 240K in an hour(talking about money not EXP rofl). The money's pretty good. Also, the tobis that dropped are shown in the screenshot. I notice I have some useless items, but I never really have a problem with my "use" slot, anyway. And Afro, the Aqua Road dungeon seems interesting. If it comes out, we should meet up and mess around in it. I'm sure even I could kill a few things there. |

--- Got to 73%, and tried a new method of training. I ended up getting less EXP and money, so it's a pretty crappy method that I'm going to trash. I only profitted 39K(so now I'm at 1,740K), got no drops(well that's bad luck), and got 13% in the hour I trained. No way am I doing that again. But hey, if you make new mistakes, you have something to learn from. --- How much are Tobis worth? Basilmarket is down for me, and I'd really like this question answered. I'd estimate about 1mil based on their power and quantity, but I can never know for sure unless I ask. |

- The king of the underwater has been awakened, and PIANUS is ready to wreak havoc on anyone foolish enough to cross its path. Gather up your guild and fight the most powerful monster you'll ever see underwater.

God, it'd look better if it were named Pianous. At least it wouldn't look as vulgar.

@Chris: Mist oughta be able to kill the sharks reliably. If I find they sometimes take more than 1 hit I will make it a habit of Sealing them first just in case. I've watched videos, and they definitely don't auto-agro, which is the only way they'll be good for me. =) And uh, I think after a week or so, when the hype has gone down and people have tried fighting the fish and we know how hard/easy it is, we should all attack it. At 110, he shouldn't be TOO hard for us. I mean, we have several 90+ people, and with the motivation of semi-frequent trips to fight the fish boss, CERTAIN PEOPLE WHO ARE A BIT BEHIND MAY BE MORE INCLINED TO GOGOGO LEVELUP. But yeah, I think it'd be a great FFR event thing we could do. =) EDIT: Oh yeah, this oughta lessen the load at Death Teddies, Vikings, and Grims. Mainly the people who will stay behind are fire mages and pages, since their elemental advantages aren't as well-suited for Dungeon as they are for Ludi. Well, unless a fire mage has mist. >=) But yeah, if DTs don't clear out (for those of you angered by the people there) I'm fairly certain bonefish/gobies are a good spot for ice mages, since you can strike and freeze them. Bone fish are also heal-able, so it wouldn't be too hard to get a priest. Only problem is getting into the goby houses, which take half damage from every element. I dunno, hopefully I'll be in dungeon right after it's released to see how things are. I'd like to just ignore the goby houses, but I dunno if they spawn like monsters or like the boxes in towns (in that I dunno if killing just the stuff around the houses will cause the map to be filled with houses and nothing else, meaning you'd have to eventually kill them).

Well yay, now I have 700-800K more than I thought, haha. I thought it was worth half of that. @Eric you just freakin' job advanced. When I advance at 8 or 10, I can't stop playing for at least three more levels, and when I job advance at 30, I'm very happy until level 40. Then it's like ughhh omfg I hate this. 50s don't feel as bad. I think I just like it more when I get more skills and am stronger. |

The early 70s suck, Tosh. Honestly, 68-69 is easier to get than 70. The one point you get does basically nothing, and you don't really get enough to be much better until ~75, at which point it may get easier. It varies between classes, but really, the 70s (especially the early 70s) suck pretty hard because exp requirements ramp up but your power doesn't.
The 80s fly by like no other, though, and if you can get into viking parties, the 90s can fly past as well.

But remember, I have a 10 level power boost at minimum. As I scroll stuff, it'll stay par with mage stuff.
By 70 I'll be able to 1hk Jetis, since I can hit over 3,100 on them now. I LOOOOOOOOOVE one hit killing stuff(almost as much as AoE), and 135 EXP a pop, well, yeah. The Jeti spawn is a lot better than the lame Block Golem spawn. Also, I hate ladders, anyway. Last edited by ToshX; 08-16-2006 at 12:32 AM.. |

What's your damage range right now? I mean your minimum and maximum. On Grupins, or whatever. Tell me your damage ranges, to the best of your knowledge, and what monster it's on.
And what's your magic attack? These freaking luck-less weapons fck over those of us that did mages the way they were intended to be done. =\
