Damn 2 computers

At Johns Hopkins the dorms were undergoing some maintenance and at Cornell I didn't go on the tour I just kind of checked it out hardcore on my own lol There was a tour but I was on a trip somewhere so I couldn't stop for too long, only had like an hour or so.

Hmm why are the 2 monitors split? It looks to me that it's dual monitor setup??? aint it a total neck pain to look back and forth like that? Meh... Nice room though... Good luck with college. I'm starting soon too! wooot!!!

That's why you room with somebody you know. Not a SUPER CLOSE friend, cuz you'll get sick of them and instantly have nothing to talk about after the first week or so, but somebody you at least know. My roommate was some guy I had a few classes with but didn't really know. I at least knew he wasn't a douchebag at school, which severely lowers the chances that he'd be a douchebag to live with. Turns out he's awesomer when you're living with him. =D

But yeah, his girlfriend at the time and my friend Adele both had random roommates that they HATED. They ended up moving into a new room together for 2nd semester and they liked each other. It's funny, because they were both always in mine and Andrew's room avoiding their crappy roommates, which is where they got to know each other and decide the move in together.

Moral of the story: Living with strangers is scary and bad ALWAYS, because 2 people's experiences = everybody's, duh. Honestly, though, I recommend rooming somebody you at least kinda know before college.

But a bit more on topic: I agree with Jewpin. Very green.

And kinda small looking. Of course, you only really photographed one side of the room, so maybe behind the camera is a living room and kitchen and football field....

PS: Do like I did and don't cut your hair the entire school year. We have pictures from the day we moved in and pictures from the day we moved out, and it's funny to see how much my hair grew. XD

My roommate last year was one of my friends, and it was really fun. Sure we both had our own group, but we still hung out A LOT. We even live in the same neighborhood, so living with a close friend is not that bad. I do however see where you're coming from. It really just depends on the situation. Some colleges don't even allow you to room with someone with the same zipcode, so you pretty much have to room with a complete stranger. I know that's how Notre Dame is. My brother was supposed to room with one of his friends, but the kid screwed him over and told him they weren't rooming together two weeks before the school year started. But it ended up that my brother got a really cool roommate and had a much better time than he would have with his friend.

I'm rooming with my friend from last year, another kid I met last year, and some random kid. I've talked to him a little bit, and he seems pretty down to earth.

I don't really think rooming with a random person is really that bad. Usually it works out for the best.

On the flipside of what Afro said, my brother got a random roommate as a freshman in college. Of course, he filled out his likes/dislikes etc. but he ended up getting an excellent roommate that he still rooms with today, 4 years later. It really proves the random-ness of random roommating regularly.

Alright. First. Nice Dorm. The computers are just like mine with two moniters. I think its a nice dorm. BUT i wouldn't know as I don't live in one. I'm not in college yet. Or high school. But im gonna go to high school end of this summer. NIce room. and hopefully you get nice roomate.
