Re: Trickster: The game
I already quit this game. It's not that great (obviously I don't play it enough) and the lag is impossible to play with. So if anyone catches me on and wants like 40k and some items to npc at stuff, ask me.

Re: Trickster: The game
The lag is solely due to the number of people in the same area you are in.
Therefore, if you're in a place with very few people, you don't lag. Imagine that. ps almost 40 zer i want those itemz plz pps 400k 8) |

Level 18. I only have like 6k. Just mastered power blow, but I don't have a whole lot of MP, so I can only use it occasionally. It is really helpful though. Once I hit like 20 or so I'll be levelling a lot faster =D

Re: Trickster: The game
The money drops are total crap. Easiest way to get money is fight below your level (things that do ~0 dmg preferably) so you don't use pots, and use the money you get from them to fight higher level crap. Btw, my gun is like 3x stronger than my sword, but without load protection it's still pretty poopy. 4 more TM levels till I can get that, though. =(
But yeah, fighting lower level stuff so much has my lion getting much more money. The big money, really, is from equipment drops, which usually NPC for AT LEAST 1k, which is still a lot for me. Also, do the worm quest (the guy fishing in the bottom right in that town with the ugly mermaid), all you need to do is kill those moles (piss easy) and collect 20 worms from them (piss easy) and it can be repeated a ton of times. I think I've done it 6-7 times on my lion, and it gives something like 1200g every time, plus experience. Also, I've gotten some crappy shields/mdef hats from the octopi and moles, so I'm doing much better as far as money goes. =)

Re: Trickster: The game
There's a Monster Quest in Coral Town that I think is actually infintely repeatable and you have to do is kill 30 Blue Penguins in 30 minutes. It gives 3000 Gelda per completion.

Re: Trickster: The game
Penguins are level 17 I think. Ya, I'm kinda already done with this game too. It's pretty boring for me and I've found better things to do. I might be on occasionaly but it just doesn't grab my attention anymore.

Re: Trickster: The game
I'm still enjoying it, but I'll admit I probably won't be as active, at least until the beta ends and the actual game comes out. I'll just be continuing my experimenting with classes, so that when the game does come out, I'll be set.

Re: Trickster: The game
Got my 4114 to level 25 in just today. Needless to say, I'll be sticking with it. I'm doing alright on money. If I really get desperate, I found a blue penguin earlier which I want to save, but could probably sell for ~50k. Tomorrow I'll get to like 35 or maybe 40 and get Hard shield.

Re: Trickster: The game
Don't put much into Shockwave, because you will want to use Burning Rave (level 20 tm) later on. Put a few points onto Bulls Eye to make sure you always hit, but be sure you can cast it (us bufallollols have bad mp).
But take that advice with a grain of salt (lololbrainage) because that is just coming from a level 21 buffalo with a bit of help from a 49 buffalo. NiK~ |

Re: Trickster: The game
I didn't even get shockwave on my buffalo, I skipped it completely in favor of rave. If you compare them just at level 1, Rave does like 1.5x as much but costs half the MP. Besides, buffalos are already so fcking strong at first that they don't really need an attacking skill to help them out. XD
Although, it does suck that 2nd job isn't out yet, cuz I some (crappy) 1st job things are prerequisites for (really good) 2nd job things, so by the time we get 2nd jobs we'll all be like "wtf I should have gotten _ points in ____ skill so I could get this fcking awesome 2nd job thing!!" That is, if we're all playing come October. XD

Re: Trickster: The game
Look at all the skills, and the pre-requisites for all of them before you make your decision. After you do, some simple logic will show you which paths you should take.

Re: Trickster: The game
Yay level 40 whoo.
I have 420 base defense now, and a skill that adds 28% (117) more. It goes up and up. It's fun being away from the bellcurve of levels 4srs |
