On StepMania:

Brake + Tipsy + Dark + Any CMod you like

Brake makes it difficult to know exactly when the arrow stops
Dark hides the transparent arrows at the top
Tipsy, when used with dark, makes sure you don't know exactly where the transparent arrows are

I can usually get my timing right (round 50% marvelous, 40% perfects and 10% everything else) but when I used this I got a bunch of Greats...

If you try this, tell me how you did

Only if the topic doesn't suck.
When it comes to tipsy + dark you can't do good even if you have omg...did insane timing. You just have to guess which arrows will arrive the receiver first. It's almost all luck so no one here will be stupid enough to try that.

Well I can't see how it should be too hard to get used to, if your timing is good and you know the song and you're familiar enough with the arrows.

No because the whole point of this is so that you can see what the arrows are but not when they should be pressed.

I would say Tipsy and Dark is pretty Goddamn hard, but not impossible.

My MA suffered for it though.
