The song is public domain, but the performance of it is not. That's where the permission comes into play.

Very well done FFR song, I found it's just slow enough to hit the arrows as eights rather than slide 16ths if you know what I mean

As LD said... song is PD, performance is not. Had to contact Mr. Tubb and get his approval to use his rendition. Same as I have to do for every classical file I've gotten.

And as I said somewhere else... if someone finds another good song on pdmusic.org, let me know and I'll contact him again about permission for it.

Nice FC. And yea guys... I've played it 6 times... 4, 5, 3, 3, 8, 7. At least I'm pretty consistent. I'll whore it some more and get the AAA (hopefully).

I played it and went 6g 1b, 7g, 11g, 6g, 7g

pisses me off because the last time i was SURE i only got 2 boos and i got 7

it's the jumpstreams... same thing happens to me in domani. I don't get a good transfer between the 16th, the jump, and back to the 16th and it causes me a good.

I'm thinking of stepping a song for classical, if I jacked the midi off some random website then remastered it, do you still need to get permission?

yes... although if they only remastered it, then you'd need permission from the original artist.

Do you mean "only if they" remastered it? Because if the remasterer of the midi is the person you need permission from, then it's me. I changed the bpm and made the piano sound more realistic.

If you need the midi maker, who do I talk to to tell?

Also, its awesome, there are all these 24th gallops and even some 48th notes 8)

I might need to double the bpm or something to make it normal on ffr rofl
