Those are all DS games, and no one really thinks there's a hidden message about the Wii release...

I'll give anyone 8:1 odds for an Oct. 2 release date.

I'm ready to buy the October 2 theory until you can produce some evidence to back up that claim.

Explain why October 2. Because a major first or second party DS game isn't launching? You actually think that they hid the launch secret in that press release? I really can't believe any self-respecting person would seriously believe that. And why does it have to launch on a Monday, when Nintendo traditionally launches consoles on Sunday? Add that to the fact that there are 3 rumors a week which are based on things more convincing than this. This is Nintendo having fun...And probably laughing their asses off at morons who actually came up with a date based on nothing.

Remember the Luigi code?

I'd actually rather believe in October 2nd and be wrong then going "OMG when is it coming out." You know what I mean? You don't have to agree with me, but that's where I'm coming from on this. At least there's a theory there on the date, instead of NOTHING.

Default Hidden release date in press release.

I was looking for info on the Wii and Twilight Princess release dates and have come up with a few ideas on when it will come out.

http://games.ign.com/articles/720/720863p1.html

Some sites say early Nov. or Oct. some time.

1.I've found that the Nintendo Fusion tour is supposed to have a Wii on board to showcase it. Well, the tour goes on past the 2nd, so why showcase an already released product? So i suspect after the tour is when the Wii will be released. When does it end? Why the 11th of november! And if Nintendo follows their own patterns, then it will release on a Monday. The first monday after the tour is 11/13. One week before the PS3.

First of all, we have a Wii thread, so I merged your thread into it.

Second, who says you can't hype something that's already out?

Also, the DS released was showcased during the Fusion tour as well, and it launched before the tour was over. You'd still want as many people as possible to play it.

Look, it may end up being any of these dates by coincidence, but these lame theories are just annoying.

I have the new DS and the Wii shall own everthing!! YAY!! The PS3 has lost a lot of its major endorsements and is priced at $600 for the UBER version with a 60 gig hardrive and everything. $500 version is a piece of crap with only 20 gig hardrive and comes with almost nothing. Like no memory card port and stuff. That is what I have figured out. Not sure if my sources are reliable though. The price is right though.

The Wii is said to be priced at $250 dollars. They plan to release in in October or around that time. This is the best info. I found. Most of the games will be released in October or November. The main games the plan to release at launch are Zelda: Twighlight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, and many more. Also, not but a month later, the ultimate game of Nintendo, SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL!!!!!

Bump.

The Leipzig Games Convention is tonight and I'll be up to watch it. Most of us believe today is the day that Nintendo will finally release the final information about the console. Specs, release date, price, etc.

Working on finding a streaming video of the convention at the moment; will update as time approaches.

I'm gonna get one of these. Only downside I see so far is batteries going out at a bad time and that it uses a god damn remote for a controller.

The remote for the contoller is the biggest plus for the system.
And when a controller's batteries run out, isn't it normally treated
like it was unplugged

Probably won't have any luck squeek. The best I've found is an RSS feed from Nintendo of Europe.

I think we'll see a couple new games (or games that haven't been showed before), but I don't think we're going to get final launch info...I think Nintendo is going to save that for TGS.

Turns out all they did was to release information on the sequel to Super Mario Strikers and Battalion Wars.

It was being discussed on the last page, people are saying itll come out as soon as October 2nd. Whereas others don't think that is very true.

I've entered my email address to 12 or so sites to email me when the launch date and pre order date are confirmed for the Wii. I estimate that I have enough to by the console and four games. Those being, Zelda, Red steel, SSBB and Sonic Wild Fire. I may have enough for another game, if so, I'll by something like warioware that push's the use's of the controller to the MAX!
