Okay, so...I know I posted this a while back but Portugal. the Man has to be one of the most amazing bands ever.

They're on tour soon so you guys should check them out if they're in your town asap.

Again, don't need more recognition, they get plenty. I don't think they sound anything like Metallica.

Now I'll name a band:

Mezquita - Spanish band who I've only heard one song but damn was it awesome, I want to hear it again but I heard it on last.fm radio so unlikely to find it again. It happens. They are awesome symphonic prog.

Stop mentioning Panic at the Disco. They get played on MTV and Top 40 radio regularly. THEY HAVE ENOUGH ATTENTION.

Hm...

I'd say Ayreon, Stream of Passion and Porcupine Tree, as it seems almost no one knows them, but then again, people may think they have enough attention already. Oh well. ^^;

Also: Results 1 - 10 of about 149,000 for Arjen Lucassen.

Ayreon gets a hell of a lot of attention, as does Steven Wilson in all of his projects. Porcupine Tree are huge, Blackfield are becoming well known, hell most people even know of I.E.M, Bass Communion and No Man's Land (all side projects of his). Next he is doing a collaboration with Opeth, that should be interesting, along with a new album this/next year.

Stream of Passion deserve more attention for having a woman who can give me ear sex everytime I listen to that album.
