if you hold ctrl + alt and hit left, right, up or down, the screen will rotate. i've done it a few times myself, more annoying than anything because you have to change your settings back to 1024 x 768.

Also, in some computers, hitting alt, ctrl, and a directional key can rotate your screen. That's likely what you did (considering you walk with directional keys, jump with alt, and attack with ctrl).

That happened to me before. Apparrently, after playing for an extended amount of time sometimes, your computers' control settings can get screwed up, to where each key represents opening a different thing.

But it may have been spyware lol.

Oh guys. It looks like 4th job skills are out in kMS or something.

EDIT: it looks like they're just test skills. Each class gets two skills.

I think one of them is a party buff that everyone gets that increases attack power by a percent, and the other is class specific. Archers get a AoE shot, warriors get a vack type skill, not sure about thieves or mages but they probably suck too so whatever.

I'll try running Anti-Spyware later. And I was playing for a good 3+ hours that day. I tend to try to level but then I hate seeing that low % so I have to level again. Due to this tendency I am up with my friends in less than half the time.

The person in that screenshot wasn't the one using the skill. That is the dragon skill for archers and that person in the SS was a thief. 80% as of now, I'll level to 77 for sure during 2x exp. Since I'll be leaving soon for Japan and I"ll be gone for close to 3 weeks, I figured I would post a 2nd job build for everyone... Again this is just my recomendations from past experience, you do not need to follow it or listen to my advice if you do not want to. I'll also have some training spots for you. Unfortunately though, I do not know the training spots in ludi as it wasn't released when I was in 2nd job (well it was released when I was in 2nd job in my late 6x's). Here we go I guess...

First off, I would like to say that I am an FAless (final attack) archer and I believe it is smart not to go fa. Why?
1) FA does not work with 3rd job skills.

What this means is that basically once you hit level 70 and you get the very sexy strafe, your 30 points you invested into fa will have gone to complete waste because it will no longer activate when you use 3rd job skills. It will still activate when you use ds, ab, and bomb/iron arrow, but there are much better skills in 3rd job.

2) FA wastes time

FA makes it so that you, as an archer, get your skills much later then faless archers. You won't come close to getting maxed bomb, pkb, or soul/booster until way late in your 2nd job advancement. Also, FA is passive and activates on a certain % (60% when maxed) so even if you kill a monster with ds or ab, fa still might activate, thus meaning you are shooting at nothing.

3) FA does not allow you to max soul, booster, and whatever other skills you want

Again, if you get FA you are losing that much more time and points. 30 points is 10 levels (which will be your 4x, the hardest time as an archer in my opinion). If you go FAless, you have those EXTRA 30 points to play around with, which you can use to max booster, soul arrow, arrow blow, focus, or blessing, which I consider much more important. I have seen 3rd job rangers who went with FA having only 5 in soul arrow. Both soul arrow and booster are annoying to cast, especially if you are in mobs and you need to kill fast. Although 150 seconds sounds like enough, it really isn't.

I am a bit biased against FA just because I'm FAless myself but if you look at it, I really do see no point in even putting 1 point into it. That brings up another point of mine... If you are going to put ANY points into FA, you must max it or then your points go to even more of a waste. The two main builds for archers are FAless and FA so now you can decide which one you would like best. I'm not quite sure on the FA build but I'll try my best according to some FA archers I know.

Now here you can decide. If you like how booster and soul are right now, then go ahead and add points into bomb. I would recomend getting bomb as soon as possible just because it is by far, the strongest attack you will have in 2nd job against 3 or more monsters. I use it a lot, even in 3rd job just because the damage is amazing and the stun is an added bonus. If you want to level fast but don't mind about the mp cost of booster and bomb, go ahead and start maxing bomb.

For an fa build, the ones on http://www.hidden-street.net are good. Again this is just my recomendation. I, myself, did not follow this build because I didn't think that far ahead on my archer. I also put my last 9 points from 1st job into accuracy so I don't have quite as many points to play around with (I wanted maxed arrow blow). So I only have 13 soul but I'm perfectly fine with it as it is. I would actually strongly recomend that you max bomb 5x time because you will be training on pixies which are very very good for mobbing, as are jr. yetis and zombies. Now for some training spots... Again I don't know any good spots in ludi because ludi was not released yet.

30-35: Continue training where you were. The advancement is not going to be a huge change from your ant tunnel/wild boar training. Here, I would skip the level 30 bow if you are low on funds because it is slower then your battle bow. If you are an xbowman, I would strongly recomend getting eagle crow, or if possible, even a maple crow. I didn't have the maple weapons when I was that level but they are very good (but rather expensive). If you have the money, try investing in a good maple bow/xbow, they will come in handy.

35-40: This is really where things start to pick up. The red viper is VERY VERY GOOD. I strongly recomend 100% scrolling this if you are low on funds or 60% it if you have the money just because the weapon is "fast" attack speed and has a high base weapon attack. For xbowman, the heckler is probably going to be your weapon throughout 4x so SCROLL IT VERY WELL OR FIND A WELL SCROLLED ONE. This is a time where leveling will come much easier for you. Brace yourself though because the 4x is going to be tough. By this time, you should be doing very well and more stable damage because mastery is very high and you are getting booster. Try training in orbis at cloud park 1 or 2 or at jr. kitties. Jr. kitties are very good money because you can sell the horns for quite a bit in free market or you can trade them in yourself for pots and some extra exp. I would stay in orbis though because nath really isn't for anyone under 45-50. If you want to stay in vic though, train on fire boars, or if you have a good viper/heckler, try copper drakes.

40-45: Things start to slow down here. You will still level decently fast but not as fast as you are used to. For bowman, keep using the viper/maple bow until you feel that you are weak or you want to be able to tackle harder monsters. If you want to conserve money, you might want to skip the v2k (level 40 bow) all together. For xbowman, keep your heckler until the rower at level 50. Start training on lunar pixies because they are very good exp for this level (cloud park 3-4). You can try ludi out but I'm not too sure if there are any good places for archers. Try to experiment and see where you can kill in 1-3 hits easily that has great spawn. I personaly like lunar pixies because they drop some good things and they have great maps for archers. Vic really doesn't have anywhere good to train for you at this point unless you want to train at copper drakes (which are slower then lunar pixies and drop less money >.<)

46-50: This truly is hell for archers. Not only are we not getting much stronger, but we need a ton of exp to level. Right here is probably the best time to PQ in ludi. I didn't have this luxury but if you are in a server that is emptier then scania is (>.<) pqing is probably your best bet to not dying of boredom. This is where your archer can get frustrating. Here is the time you really want to save up money though because the oly is a bit on the pricy side (not as much as it used to be, it was 5-10 mil when I was this level but it will still make a big hole in yoru pocket) Keep at lunar pixies or even go back to kitties if you need money. Here, I remember I also tried stone golems (which have terrible spawn but decent exp. Go here if you really have nothing better to do) You can also try to fight stuff in nath. Jr. yetis are always good but I'm not quite sure you will do too well against them at this point. All you can do is be conservative and try to enjoy these hard times with your archer. Also, now is the time to really start thinking about attack wgs/archer gloves. You will need them to be level at all efficiently. All I can say is good luck with this >.<

50-55: This is the time to shine. Make sure you get a very good oly/rower because you will level like crazy at this time. Also this is the first time you get an overall (unless you get a sauna robe which I highly recomend against doing because it is expensive and you have lower def). If you have the money (which you probably don't) 60% scroll a kimset or if you are low on funds (like I usually am) 100% some (look on hidden street to see which npcs sell 100% overall dex scrolls). Also this is the time I got my first attack wg. I started off with a 5 attack (which don't go for much, I believe they are about 6 mil right now in scania) and I just kept on upgrading it so that I have a 9 attack now. Start off low and work your way up, people actually do trade their higher attack gloves for money. If you have good equips, go to luster pixies or jr. yetis (lusters are the best source of exp and money in my opinion but they do get a bit boring and are pot consuming until you can 1-2 hit them) You can give hectors a try also. Don't go near zombies at all because it will only bring you misery and pain. This is the time archers shine, enjoy it.

55-60: You will continue to level at your normal speed. Now is the time you can try zombies because at this time, you should be 2-3 hitting them. Bring a bunch of unagis, pure waters, and antidotes because you will need them. My friend told me that at this time, it is great leveling with priests if you have any priest friends. Make friends with priests so you can take advantage of free heal and holy symbol (more exp). Sounds mean but it is the truth =) Other then that, just train on whatever you really feel like. I'm still not quite sure on ludi but just play around. This is the time where you can do as you want really. Lusters are going to be good money at this time and zombies will probably drain your money a bit =/

60-65: Zombies zombies zombies. The best exp you can get really at this time. It is hard to get a ch but well worth it. Again you are stuck in the same places... Hectors, lusters, zombies, jr. yetis. Try out ludi at this time and see if you can kill buffys well or try soul teddies with a priest.

65-70: Zombies are very very fast at this point also but they are starting to slow down. I remember here was the time I grinded and got these 5 levels in 4 days at zombies. A friend of mine told me that yetis (ice valley 1 map) is very fast exp also and also a ton of fun. 390 exp for about 6 hits I think at this time is decent. Make sure you keep upgrading your stuff. All I can say is the more money you have, the more potential you have for being strong. Buy or scroll a dex cape. Get a better wg. Scroll your bows/xbows well. It is well worth it in the end. This is the last stretch of your 2nd job advancement so here is the time to really put your head down and just grind. Not the most enjoyable but the most rewarding.

Please don't follow my guide word for word. It is only an opinion based on my experiences. If you do have a suggestion feel free to just post it on here. If you feel you need more booster at one point or you think you want a certain skill before another, don't hesitate to just do it. Oh and I forgot to add a xbowman faless build but it is basically the same except switch out arrow bomb for iron arrow. However, as an xbowman, you will probably want more booster earlier then most hunters do.

Yay. Great way to sorta leave maple for 3 weeks. I didn't level much in double exp. 1 and a half levels...But I was trying to get stiff feathers and one of those retarded metal pigs wouldn't go away so I spent about a quarter of the time with everyone else on the rope..

10k crossbow arrows today though..
