It looks so much funnier in the previews than Clerks 1 did. I'm going to go see it when it comes out. The trailer is just funny.

Being a [bookstore] clerk, I do plan on going to see this movie. I recently saw Clerks and found it to be so true that it was infact rather hilarious.

Even though it is a raping of all that I hold sacred, I am still looking forward to seeing it. It does look as though it will be genuinely entertaining, unlike a lot of the other rapings that the movie industry has put out lately.

My guess is that Clerks didn't have a trailer... as it was a low-budget black and white film that was as far from a major motion picture as Rocky Horror Picture Show, yet is in the same league of cult classics.

The previews do give me hope that Kevin Smith hasn't sold out and that this movie will be equally as funny as the other 4 comedies (Chasiny Amy and Jursey Girl weren't comedies) he has written/directed.

Also funny is that it comes out in 1 week, yet it still isn't rated. They must be doing some hardcore last minute edits to get it to R from NC-17. Can't wait for the unrated version on DVD with deleted scenes.
