This is my second time taking it. Failed the first time (2 weeks ago) because the instructor gave me a critical error for speeding ( even though i think he was full of kaka). Aside from that critical error, I got -2 for traffic checking and if it wasnt for that error I would have passed
. Anyways, this time I will pass and will be able to drive around on my own. Go me! |

Hope you pass.
I must ask though, why the heck would you go over the speed limit??? When I took my driver's test, I was only worried about the maneuverability. Once I got through that, the actual driving part was a piece of cake. EDIT: 100/100 on the test.

Just remember, if you fail a second time, just say to the instructor "Hey, what the f*ck? Aren't stop signs and speed limits just suggestions anyways? I am pretty sure they are. No, I am positive they are. Who made you the king of the f*cking road anyway? Sh*t, who do you think you are, f*cking judging me and sh*t. Let's see you drive. Take the wheel fat ass." Chances are they will be so intimidated, they will just give you the license and run away crying.
ps. I passed my first time through, but I got marks for "not coming to a complete stop at a majority of the stop signs." pps. I still dont completely stop at stop signs if there arent any goddamn cars around. |

I passed my test first time, I was really lucky though as my weak point was all the jive on link roads. The day of my test the link road was down due to maintenance so we skipped it.
I rock. Not at link roads though. Quote:

Oh yeah, we have yield signs, but few realize that they may even have to come to a complete stop on an access road if there are enough people exiting the highway.

Y'all only have one test?
We had two written tests, one on signs (a joke), and another on other driving things. I got an eighty on the latter, I think. The questions weren't all cake, but you'd have to be pretty dumb to fail it. Then we have the driving test, where you're with an instructor. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Our state is two "written" tests that you take on a computer from the late seventies.
I passed with the lowest allowable score. Honestly. 10 sign questions in which you cannot miss one. Did that. Then 25 questions; you cannot miss more than five. All five that I missed were distance questions. As if you can measure out 250 feet while driving a car. ps Guido it's even better if you crazy drift with a crazy through osnap~ ~Squeek Last edited by Squeek; 07-11-2006 at 04:16 PM.. |

We Have a theory test which is like all signs and what does this light mean and what to do if this happens. Its like 30 odd questions, I aced it. Then we have a Hazard perception where you have to watch a series of clips from the view of a driver and click when you see something that could be a hazard or a hazard developing etc. I aced that. Then you have the practical test. I aced that. Between the three tests I had 4 points. None on the theory. 3 on the hazard perception and 1 in the practical, which was given to me on the very last corner I did before I finished the test. I was driving too fast.
Wow reading that I think im so far up my own ass about my tests, its quite the paradox. I was really pleased I guess, because I was so f*cking nervous. Quote:

thanks all ^_^. Yeha here in cali theres 1 written test with 40 questions and that includes signs, measurements, parking stuff, the works. THen theres the actual driving test itself with an instructor.
The instructor I had for the first time when i failed said I was constantly going over the speed limit by 5 - 7 miles/hour and it was unnecessary. Then he marked me down for going 40 on a 25 mile zone but the thing is the 25 mile zone was only for when school was in. I think i will take jewpins advice for the next test ![]() |

I'm in Michigan. I take my test on saturday. I think I will do fine. The only thing I am worried about is parallel parking. I am defintally not too great at that. After I take my test, I have to go to the secretary of state office to get my license, but they close at 5. I get out of work at 5. So I think I may have to take Monday off.
