So, with the all star break coming up, the FFR Fantasy league is extremely close at the top. For most of the season, it was basically a two man race, but recently a third team has surged into the race for the top spot.
The Contenders: These are the people who have the best shot at winning the league. Kilgamayan Sertman Esupin The Middle of the Pack: It's possible for these guys to win, but they have a lot of work to do to get there. Tasselfoot TPS heyhey11 The Longshot. This person pretty much has no shot at it. Mindfields Now for a report on how everyone's been doing so far, in my eyes. Kilgamayan (Team Name: Galaxy Angels): He has been in the lead the most so far. Although only having the top score in one category, he is close to the top of almost every statistical category. For him to cement his lead, he needs to work on his teams ERA and he needs to just go over the edge in a few more categories. Sertman (Sertrific): I've been doing alright. For the most part, it's just been a race between Kilga and I, and I would usually take the lead for a few days and then he'd have it for another two weeks. I've made a bunch of really gutsy trades that have worked out for me so far. My pitching is still middle of the road, and I've had a LOT of DL problems, so hopefully I can get a bit better luck with injuries. Esupin (E [is] for esupin): He was in third pretty much the entire season so far, but in the last two weeks he shot up into the race. His pitching is very solid, and his hitting is in the upper half. Look for him to be a serious contender as the season goes on. Tasselfoot (Flash Flash Gordon): He's been in the middle of the pack for most of the season. His Pre-Europe strategy of releasing players and picking up players every day so that he would always have 3 pitchers starting has put him into an insurmountable lead in Wins and Strikeouts. However, it has backfired in some way, because is ERA is off the charts and his WHIP is extremely high. He's 5.5 points out of 3rd place, which isn't exactly impossible, but he's going to have to have a major surge if he wants to win the league. TPS (TPS): He's been in the middle of the pack for most of the season as well. The main think that's keeping him back is his atrocious hitting. He's got good pitching, as he is currently holds the lead in ERA and WHIP. However, he's going to have to make a lot of moves in the hitting department if he wants to have any kind of shot. heyhey11 (Chumbucket bulldogs): He's been in 6th place for most of the league, as his pitching leaves a lot to be desired. His hitting is great in some categories and terrible in others. If he was a bit more active and if he made some more moves, he MAY have a shot (there is still a long way to go) but it's unlikely at this point. Mindfields (Mind Fields): He's been in dead last for the entire season, and he's in dead last in 6 out of the 10 statistical categories. It's pretty much impossible for him to make any kind of serious run, but hey, miracles can happen, right? This concludes my midseason report... you can post your thoughts if you wish.

Thanks, I'll see if I can pull off any decent trades for hitting.

I look at my pitching staff and my mind boggles at the fact that my ERA is over 4.
Although I am pleased with Johjima-san's production. Took him on blind faith and it's working out pretty well so far. Also yes be on the watch for a Fantasy Football topic some time really soon.

I'm willing to trade for some batters with a high RBI or Avg count.

I can see why esupin is winning... I think, that is. I honestly don't know anything about how Fantasy Baseball works.
@Mind: GG getting as many Rangers as you could. Young and Otsuka picked up before you could snag them? --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Chumbucket Bulldogs is heyhey11.
And esupin has been in the lead like 3 times this year, lol. His team has been really strong as of late, though.

For everyone who was asking about fantasy football, here you go.

As for Otsuka, he has long since stopped paying attention, so he hasn't made any adjustments in a couple of months. If I could figure out how I'd be more than glad to add you as a manager to his team.

I would like to get rid of Glaus or Delgado, and maybe Manny. I'll see what I want to whip up.
