Legality of having sex in your car.
This is a weird question that I can't seem to find the answer to. I've searched around the internet and can only find articles about the dogging problem in the UK. It seems to be legal there to have sex in your car (wikipedia mentioned specified places just for dogging), but every TV show or movie I've ever seen has portrayed car sex as illegal. A cop always seems to show up and make them stop.
My question though, is it really illegal to have sex in your car by the side of the road? I mean, as long as you're pulled over and not blocking traffic, and if you're low enough down that it can't count as indecent exposure, what's the problem? Unless there are specific laws that ban it, I don't see how it could be illegal. So if anybody could tell me whether or not it's legal and give me some evidence (like a .gov site that lists it as illegal, maybe) so I know for sure, that'd be nice. I just can't find out on my own. =\

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. That's why you pull into an empty (or semi-empty) parking lot at night. Sure it looks kind of sketchy, but I don't think cops will bother you. At least here they don't--they don't really care.
One night I was driving through another town with some of my friends and we had gone to Burger King and gotten like 15 crowns. We were at an inlet and trying to find one of the cars where someone was having sex in it, and if they were we wanted to knock on the window and give them a crown. We didn't find anyone, though. Actually, someone put a crown ontop of a car (i dont know what was happening in it) and it blew off. 15 or 20 minutes later we drove up to it again and took the crown back. The guy in the car was laughing.

Yeah it is illegal to the point where it isn't condoned, but it isn't illegal enough in the sense that if it happens you will be arrested. You'll get a stern warning not to do it again.
More or less - it's acceptable as long as you do it far away from people. Take it into the countryside. |

Depending on the state, sex outside of marriage is illegal, and sex in public is illegal.

Now that I think about it, I'm not really sure where the line is drawn. I know that Opie and Anthony did a stunt where they sent a couple of comedians on a glass bus with a bunch of naked strippers through Manhatten, and they got arrested, but the judge let them go. So I'm not sure if a car is considered a public place or not, if you can see into it.
