I thought that they say that at the speed of light, time stops, because at the speed of light, light exists as a particle. All other times, it acts as a wave, except in certain cases.

But with the time thing: time goes faster at a faster speed. Which means at a faster speed, you pass through time quicker, so you age less than everyone else. To them, time went slower, but you passed through more time with less wear and tear on the body because it went by quicker.

(Ok, now I'm just being redundant. I was just trying to cover all the bases.)

At the speed of light, you pass through a light's amount of "relative time", which is almost none. Everyone ages while you go through time quickly, not having the amout of "relative time" to age. It isn't time travel, just time on fast foreward. This would mean you could, in theory only, "travel" foreward in time, but you can NOT "travel" backwards.

In fast foreward, you don't skip time, you just run through it quickly.

It all makes sense know....Thank you. I didnt bother taking Psychics and took Anatomy instead. Sure Anatomy is easier....but it isnt as interesting.

I remember watching a computer generated video in geology where you take off from the ground and every second you increase your speed by 10 miles per hour...about 3/4's of the way through it, the frame pauses where you would reach the speed of light, showing light as one long particle...I dont know, I thought it was rather interesting.

This is my I love this community. Where else could you have a gaming environment and still be able to have college level scientific theory debates?

It is one of those things that you have to love, Jewpin.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's right. I remember some story...I don't quite remember how it goes but it was something like this. They took two 10 year old kids and put one in a rocket in space and just left one on earth. Then like 10 years later the one on earth was 20 and the one on the rocket was only like...um don't know the age but it was younger than 20.

IT'S FUNNY CAUSE IT'S FUCKIN TRUE!

And, I see all of you are writing horribly long and complicated replies. Replies which I can grasp, but not fully understand, mainly because of my extreme laziness and lack of caring.

The original movie didnt suck, dummies. Well, they go to jupiter or something, and when they return to earth...it is run by apes because while it was only a few weeks or something on their space ship, it had been thousands of years on earth.

Wrong.

Take ion thrusers, for example.

They make you wrong.

I think.
