Any good bands?
Do any of you guys know any good heavy or metal bands that are not american, preferably european ones. If you do, please post them. Have you dudes and dudettes heard of Sonata Arctica, THEY'RE BUDDAZZ! If you've heard 'em, please post how BUDDAZZ they are and if you dont like them, please post how UNBUDDAZZ they are.

Re: Any good bands?
Ehm...yes, Sonata Arctica are good. But what are you asking for? European metal bands? Could you be more specific? That's pretty darn vague.
If you want more metal a la Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius, then I'd say Lost Horizon would be up your alley. They're a bit different, but probably clearly power metal for you, and Gamma Ray who are also more different, but are generally power metal most of the time, so they're worth a shot. Blind Guardian is an obvious given. Helloween, too. Those are all quite well-known, so that should get you started.

Re: Any good bands?
Uhh I know too many Metal/Heavy Metal bands that are from Europe, you sure you don't want to be a little more precise. Say, name some bands you already like and I can sort of stick to around the same area.
But then again, you repeatedly use the made-up word "BUDDAZ" and so maybe I won't. |

I am ashamed to live in the same state as someone who uses the word "buddazz" and "unbuddazz". gtfo of Texas with that language.

Re: Any good bands?
I would vote for Killing Joke, my friends dad is Lead Guitar in the band. They in Europe. They toured with the Motley Crue. They are part Metal. They are the people who invented Industrial Rock. They made it up, and now lots of bands are industrial rock. Killing Joke has song called "The Death And Ressurection Show" in the game Need For Speed Underground 2.
Yah, it's sweet band. The band Coheed and Cambria is also considered Metal, even though I would classify them between rock and light rock, lol. |

Re: Any good bands?
Pain of Salvation and Opeth, amazing.
The lead singer of pain Of Salvation, Daniel Gildemow, is supposedly a one in ten trillion musical genius. |

Re: Any good bands?
Rammstein: eww
Coheed and Cambria: not metal Musical genius: ??? And even if you each like those bands in the last few posts, I don't think any of that is what he's asking for.
