The two aren't mutually exclusive, mizz. I believe God created everything and that it then "exploded" and formed our universe.

And please try to use spelling and grammar; your third sentence makes absolutely no sense.

Imagine the universe as many charged magnetic particles flying around in random directions, grouped together by their attraction, but separated enough by the equivalent of putting two north ends of a magnet together.

Now, imagine every single particle in the universe existing simultaneously in the same spot. It would make a TREMENDOUS ammount of energy, and to make it worse, we haven't even found any boundary on the universe yet.

Who knows. Maybe God just poped us all into existence while making this fake 'trail' of evidence for our puny minds to try to follow.

Seriously though, It's only a theory. And I don't think the original poster knew much about it to start.

Along with dinosaur fossils...(sarcasm)

But seriously, it doesn't take a tremendous amount of energy to maintain quantum variables. All the energy in the universe eternally exists in one form or another.

Is it possible that the universe was never created and always existed, and that redshift can be explained by something other than expansion? o.o Just wondering.

I don't believe that there really isn't a god. So I don't think that is how it got here. And besides, how did the Big Band Theory go to from having nuke wars and stuff? o.0

Honestly, I think that we'll keep living until somthing like a comet, black hole or are sun explodes. We can do things about blowing areselves up or global warming, However we dont have much of a chance agianst those tyrants in space.

rofl chinese girl

And believing in an intelligent god requires the belief of the supernatural. It's impossible to say that he existed outside the universe or whatever naturally, he would have to defy every known law of well, everything. I suppose you could say he existed in plack time, which is still heavily relying on supernatural, or something but I find that hard to believe XD Say he did, he would need to be beyond what we can even comprehend at this point.

But whatever, let's not even bother getting into that. The fact is the 'big bang' did happen. There are still lots of mysteries to uncover yet though, and as we do we just find more of them XD And well, of course we know there is a boundary to the universe. If space time is expanding than naturally it does not extend infinitely at any given time.

Since when did this become a debate about grammar? Sidetracking is a *NO-NO*!! But anyways, i think, yes, there is sufficient proof that the Big Bang DID occur. But how it happened is entirely up to your PoV and your beliefs. The universe IS expanding, humans WILL (most likely) leave Earth someday, and i'm pretty sure that god didn't just "poped" us all into existence, and left us little bits of "evidence" to ponder our creation, just so he could have a chuckle. This topic has gone so far off topic, it's not even funny! Okay, maybe a little... areselves is kinda snazzy. But yeah.

Says the guy with 14 posts. In case you hadn't noticed, the topic was kind of lame to begin with, so we made it better.
