They are the ones killing. Not you. Priests are always there off to the side just helping the party along (not to be mean or anything but it is the cold truth). I mean, what are you going to do at vikings in a viking party other then casting buffs and healing? Its not like you will be an effective killer(even as a soloing priest). Still studying for AP's... Only 200 years of european history to go. =(

Yeah, the priest has to go up and down giving HS. A hermit friend told me he tried it and said it's harder than it looks. XD

Basically most priests leave MG on. But those are the ones who tend to lag (and/or have little-to-no ER). I know turning down the graphics setting helps on the Viking map, as it's a higher graphic-intense map. The really good priests are ones who leave MG off (usually still with an HP suit) and help at the bottom often spamming heal, as really that person is the person who gets hit the most. The other priests usually don't do this as they 1) have MG on and don't want to spend the money and 2) take their time going up and down to avoid the vikings, thus don't have time to spam heal for 30 seconds at the bottom. It was really nice when I was at the bottom and was partied with a priest like this. He received endless praise from me.

Afro, you need to realize that as time continues to go on (ie the more you level), the worse you get at soloing. I also need a party to have a decent exp rate, because soloing isn't that great, especially when asses like SinoKing and ThangDingh#s constantly CC and clear out bottoms. -_-; Pisses me off when I go from the bottom of the map, to the top, then keep clearing it on my way down, only to see that my bottom has 2 vikings in it. X(

Hmmmmm, so putting 1 in resist (equal to level 6-7 of Priest's resist) like I plan to will help me when I'm misting vikings THAT much? Does it reduce dmg from bumps or just from cannonballs? Cuz likely if I solo vikings I will take a lot bumps but not many hits from their cannons... =\

Speaking of vikings, for those who didn't know, EVERYBODY THERE LOVES SLOW/SEAL. Slow more than anything, it seems. I came to see Jason just for the hell of it, so I started slowing and sealing everything. I had a bunch of 100+ sins going "omg <3 seal <3 slow" all the time and asking me to Slow stuff for them. o__O Also, both help a ton when I'm taking stuff way higher than I should (lycans, pirates, death teddies, etc) cuz I can just focus on shooting and not on dodging.

Personally, I'd rather just party with one person and spam heal for them, but I know I'll have to do that HS bullcrap too. It's not a big deal.

The day it was added, Noah and I stumped Tosh with it because Tosh was acting all high and mighty. He hadn't even heard of it.

Anyway, I'm hoping it's Omega Sector with a different name. Makes more sense than other options (Zakum- not many can fight him, and new server- they never made a big deal about a new world before). And yeah, omega is the last letter of greek alphabet, so it makes sense kinda to change it to Z if it's going to be changed.

PS Squeek, it doesn't matter. Wizet steals copyrighted stuff. They most likely just thought no one would notice.

So, I decided I'm gonna get FA least. Why? Even though it looks useful in vids like the maesma one where you basically concentrate on 1 enemy at a time, I on the other hand train in a mob habit. Having FA slash blast activate when I'm in a huge mob like jetis or hectors will be kind of annoying, because there's very little chance that the enemies will get knockbacked since the damage is spread out. I guess it depends on the KB though. I suppose it could be pretty useful if it's an extremely low KB.

Jack and I decided to go kill MM in channel 1. A crusader shows up and acts a little cocky, as he builds up his combo to 5. I actived Shadow Partner and was trying to stop him from getting to 5. He eventually got it. So I stood to the right and was ready for MM (I didn't know when it would appear, but judging from the crusader getting ready, I assumed at any moment.. plus Jack and I were there for at least 15-20 minutes already). MM appears, I get a shot in immediately. Then the next turn Jack hits it with his L7 and I hit it with my L7+SP and MM dies. The crusader was dumb enough to type. Oops.



We decided to Jrog after. Needless to say, I found one on my first try. It dropped 3 power elixirs, 15 mana, and a bag of mesos. -_- None of the other channels had one spawned. This one was walking in the far right. I'm not sure if the guy there had a vac on to the corner or not. *shrugs* But it was walking into the way in the corner when I got there.


On our way back, we decided to try Crogging, without HB. This is how it turned out. I told him about a trick I heard the other day of hitting one, going in cabin, hitting one, going in cabin, rinse & repeat. After I did it about 4 times, he joined me. A few times I even shot twice. Once he joined me, one of the crogs was stuck right below the entrance to the cabin, enough to bump us. Well, after a few tries, I decided to go to the right and peg him. I got about 4 hits in before it moved. Jack and I went in and out about 8 more times. One of them died at this point; I'm not sure when. But then one time while we shot, the crog instantly did its big magic attack and killed us, since a monster aggros right when you hit the key (not when it hits the monster).

Exactly why most archers decide not to get fa at all. Archers are ranged characters and when you are mobbing, you don't want fa to activate. Sure you will do massive damage to one enemy, but you will have to deal with a humongous mob of enemies charging at you, thus having to pkb and waste a ton of pots. Friday is the day... =(

Thought about that too... why use a flaming Z? It'd make more sense to have a MM silhouette or something, and have one of those charms of undead on it. Or, really, any kind of thing involving a charm or MM. The Z has little connection to it.

And yeah, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Zorro. Not only would that be retarded, but it would also be too obvious. I'm sure that Wizet simply made use of the image thinking that no one would notice. The only way I can see it actually being Zorro is if they got permission for it, which would be stupid as hell.

About the Z: It could be a gMS-specific area. I dunno about other areas, but the Taiwan-specific area had recognizable maps with actual cities in Taiwan as background and levels. Some of the events had Taiwanese pop stars and such giving quests and rewards. I forget the choices of the Cody quest, but if one of them was general enough to include basically all the Americas, Zorro could be an NPC in a Mexican-style area. But ya know what that means. Bulls and possibly Mexican-gangstas (much to the disappointment of Chris).
